AMC Brings Panels and Previews to NYCC 2025: Anne Rice, Walking Dead, Shudder

AMC will be back at NYCC with exciting panels and first looks at content from Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and a special event honoring Shudder’s 10-year milestone.

Attendees of New York Comic Con will be the first to see previews of upcoming shows, short trailers, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from some of AMC’s most popular series.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe at NYCC

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order
AMC will be premiering Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order on Friday, October 10th, from 6:45pm to 8:00pm at the Main Stage. The panel will give viewers a look into the secretive group responsible for monitoring witches, vampires, and other supernatural beings, before the show’s first two episodes air on October 26th on both AMC and AMC+. The panel will include cast members Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, and Eric Bogosian, as well as Executive Producers Mark Johnson and John Lee Hancock.

Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat
After discussing Talamasca, AMC will showcase The Vampire Lestat, starring Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Assad Zaman, and Jennifer Ehle. The panel will give a first look at the series’ return in 2026 and reveal a new preview for the third season.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Panel

Join AMC on Friday, October 10th, from 8:30-9:15pm for a special event featuring The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The discussion will focus on the last two episodes of season three, and will include stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, as well as producers Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, and Greg Nicotero. Those attending will get a first look at new footage and exclusive behind-the-scenes content from season four.

Shudder Celebrates 10 Years at NYCC

Shudder Is Here To Scare The S* Out Of You
Join Shudder as they celebrate 10 years of horror! On Saturday, October 11th, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Room 405, they’ll be looking back at their past and sharing what’s coming up next. The event will feature Greg Nicotero, Josh Ruben, Micheline Pitt-Norman, Willa Holland, and Jermaine Fowler. Sam Zimmerman, Shudder’s head of programming, will lead the discussion.

Evolution of Queer Horror / Queens of the Dead
Join us on Saturday, October 11th, from 3:30-4:30pm in Room 406.3 for a panel presented by Shudder. This discussion will focus on queer representation in horror, featuring Queens of the Dead, a zombie film by Tina Romero. The cast and creators will talk about the film and the increasing impact of LGBTQ+ perspectives in the horror genre, moderated by film critic Erik Piepenburg from The New York Times.
