Magic: The Gathering is getting ready for another exciting year of tabletop gaming! MagicCon: Atlanta recently gathered fans for a weekend filled with fun and some big reveals. We still have some great sets coming this year, including the recently launched Spider-Man set and Final Fantasy, which will be released in December. However, there’s also plenty to look forward to in the coming year.
Here is every new Magic: The Gathering set coming in 2026 that was announced at MagicCon: Atlanta:
Magic: The Gathering® Lorwyn Eclipsed
Lorwyn is a plane famous for its strategies based on creature types, and that trend continues in Lorwyn Eclipsed.
However, on Shadowmoor, creatures don’t always remain the same types as they were on Lorwyn, as demonstrated by Sygg. #MTGLorwyn

The enchanting world of light and darkness is back with Lorwyn Eclipsed. It’s been 18 years since players first explored Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, and while Magic has evolved significantly, the fondness for this setting remains strong.
Players can bring the world of Lorwyn into their Dungeons & Dragons games with Lorwyn: First Light, a digital expansion for D&D. Lorwyn: First Light includes a new adventure, unique magic items and creatures from Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, a completely new playable species called the Rimekin, and much more. It will be released on D&D Beyond on November 18, 2025.

Magic: The Gathering® Secrets of Strixhaven
We’re expanding beyond the classrooms of Strixhaven to bring you an experience of Arcavios unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Feeling a bit empty since Rings of Power ended? While we wait for the next season, you can explore Middle-earth with Magic: The Gathering and The Hobbit! Join Bilbo, Thorin, Gandalf, and all your favorite characters as they journey to the Lonely Mountain. Magic is holding back a few details about the The Hobbit set for now, as the release is still quite a ways off.

Magic: The Gathering® Reality Fracture
We can’t reveal too many details just yet, but we’re excited to announce the name of this major set: Reality Fracture

Reality Fracture wraps up the Magic Story arc. Following the climactic battle in the Meditation Realm at the end of Tarkir: Dragonstorm, the future of the Multiverse rests with those hoping to improve it. This set will feature the return of several characters players already know.

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek™
Magic: The Gathering is honoring 60 years of Star Trek with a unique set of cards, launching in November 2026. This set will capture the feeling of adventure and discovery central to Star Trek, letting players experience the excitement of space exploration right at their tabletop.
Release date: November 2026
We know there’s at least one additional Magic: The Gathering set planned for 2026, but details won’t be revealed until New York Comic Con this October.
