Director Tina Romero (and yes, she is his daughter) has created a truly impressive film for this Halloween. The movie offers a fresh take on the zombie apocalypse, following a group of LGBTQ survivors as they band together to endure the crisis in New York City. Plus, the trailer is absolutely fantastic.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order
As a huge fan of Anne Rice, I’m incredibly excited to hear that a secret society from her books is finally getting its own TV show! The series centers around Guy Anatole and his journey into the mysterious world of the Talamasca – basically, an international spy agency dealing with immortals. It’s fascinating to watch him discover his family’s secret connections to the supernatural. And while I absolutely love the Interview with a Vampire series, I’m already completely hooked by the premise of this one, too. It sounds amazing!

IT: Welcome to Derry
Pennywise is returning to frighten more unsuspecting children and drag them into his terrifying hideout. IT: Welcome to Derry will transport us back to 1962, revealing the backstory of this notorious clown and the town he haunts. Packed with ties to other Stephen King stories and plenty of gore, this series is likely to be completely captivating.
