The Air Jordan 40 “Bordeaux” will release in October 2025. It features a Bordeaux, University Red, and Burgundy Crush color scheme and will retail for $205 USD. You can purchase it directly from Nike. The shoe’s SKU is HM9932-601.
When Jordan Brand launched the Air Jordan 40 in June, they emphasized that a lot of thought went into the design of each colorway. The initial announcement highlighted nine pairs that would use different materials on the shoe’s upper. Since then, we’ve seen various designs, including a “Chicago” version inspired by the Air Jordan 1, complete with iconic Swoosh and Wings logos.
A new version of the Air Jordan 40 has been revealed, featuring a “Bordeaux” colorway inspired by wine. The shoe boasts a soft leather upper in this rich, wine-like shade. Darker burgundy accents appear on the laces, tongue (including the Jumpman logo), and the sole. A touch of peach orange is visible on the side of the shoe, and Nike Air branding is subtly placed under a translucent layer on the heel.
As of today, Jordan Brand hasn’t announced the release date for the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 40. We’re expecting these to become available next month through Nike SNKRS and some stores for $205, and we’ll share more details – including other color options – as soon as we have them.
