Summary
- Song for the Mute announced its latest collaborative drop with adidas
- The collection features two reimagined Taekwondo Mei and Adizero PR models, alongside apparel pieces and accessories
- Pre-releasing on October 3 first via SFTM, followed by October 10 global launch
Song for the Mute and adidas Originals have teamed up for a sixth collection, exploring a subtle, rebellious style. The SFTM x adidas Originals 006 line includes seven clothing items and two updated shoe designs: the SFTM-006 Adizero PR and the SFTM-007 Taekwondo Mei. This marks the first time the brands have offered accessories, featuring a washed-cotton cap and a versatile tote-shoulder bag.
The Taekwondo Mei keeps the classic look of a martial arts shoe but adds comfortable, stretchy details like a gathered collar and laces. It features unique, off-center panels made from worn-looking suede in khaki, sand, and black, all on top of a slightly see-through sole with a cracked 3-Stripes design. The Adizero PR takes a break from its traditional running style with a vintage rubber sole, mismatched laces, silver accents, and metal protective studs. The shoe’s lightweight mesh and synthetic upper come in muted shades of black, aged white, and a rich, deep red.
The new collection features a wide range of clothing, including velvet track jackets, roomy overshirts, pleated trousers, and updated track pants. Colors are warm and muted, with shades of beige, mustard yellow, faded red, and washed black. Accessories like a vintage-style cap and a practical shoulder bag complete the look, blending classic functionality with modern design.
You can see a sneak peek of the new collection in the photos above. It will be available first on October 3rd through an exclusive early release at Song for the Mute’s store in Sydney and on their website. The collection will then be released worldwide on October 10, 2025.
