NFL announces halftime performer for Vikings vs Browns in London

The NFL is working hard to grow its fanbase in the UK and internationally. It could be challenging, given current global issues and some people’s reluctance to embrace a sport so strongly associated with the United States. However, the NFL promises good music at its first London game in 2025.

The league just announced that RAYE will be performing at halftime during the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns. The popular singer is gaining a lot of attention right now, and her talent definitely shines through – she’s a fantastic singer, dancer, and all-around performer.

I’m so excited for the game on October 5th at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium! And it’s awesome that NetApp is sponsoring both the game and the halftime show. Honestly, even if football isn’t your thing, I’m really looking forward to seeing RAYE perform – ten minutes of her music is going to be amazing!

RAYE announced as the halftime performer at the Minnesota Vikings versus Cleveland Browns game in London

Okay, so I’m heading to London for the game, and I heard the halftime show artist is RAYE. If I’m honest, I didn’t know her music before, but someone told me if you ask any British person, they’ll probably know all about her! Apparently, she had a *huge* year – her song “Escapism” actually made BRIT Awards history in 2024 by winning six awards, which is the most any single song has *ever* won!

She received Grammy nominations for both Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year – a first for any artist in the same year. Fans of the NFL will also soon be able to experience her music. Hailing from South London, she’s released only one album so far, *My 21st Century Blues*, which impressively reached the No. 2 spot in the UK charts.

Pixie Lott will be singing the national anthem. She’s an established singer, having released four studio albums since her first one in 2009.

This NFL season, fans in London will be able to see three games live. The Minnesota Vikings will play the Cleveland Browns on October 5th, followed by the Denver Broncos versus the New York Jets on October 12th. Both of those games will be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Finally, the Los Angeles Rams will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 19th at Wembley Stadium.
