Even though there was some recent uncertainty among the actors, *Daredevil: Born Again* has been officially renewed for a third season on Disney+.
Brad Winderbaum from Marvel Studios told IGN that a third season of *Daredevil: Born Again* is confirmed and will start filming in 2026.
According to Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum, Daredevil has been officially renewed for a third season and production is scheduled to begin next year.
The announcement comes after rumors started circulating when Charlie Cox hinted Season 2 might be the last, and Vincent D’Onofrio mentioned the show’s continuation relied on how many people watched.

Season 2 Will Set the Tone
The second season is currently scheduled to arrive in early 2026. This will be the first complete season created after a major overhaul of the show, Born Again, following negative feedback from both fans and the cast during production.
As we were the first to report, the show’s restart happened because of initial reactions. This resulted in filming a new pilot and finale to better match the feel of the original Netflix series.
Season 2 will likely bring back familiar faces, including Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Luke Cage, played by Mike Coulter, may also return.
Fans Get What They Asked For
Despite having one of the smallest audiences of any Marvel show on Disney+, *Daredevil: Born Again* seems to be improving, now with a third season on the way.
Following a difficult first season with low viewership, Marvel is hoping a fresh creative approach will recapture fans’ interest. Based on the success of Ironheart – which did appear on the Nielsen charts – Marvel will probably release multiple episodes at once.
Jon Bernthal is working on a special episode featuring the Punisher for Disney+ and will also appear in the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*.
Marvel has also confirmed the MCU shows on Disney+ won’t connect to the MCU films.
