Jenny Han, who wrote the books the movie is based on, will direct and co-write the film with Sarah Kuckserka. The announcement was made during a celebration in Paris for the end of Season 3 of *The Summer I Turned Pretty*, and fans around the world were thrilled to hear the story will continue.
