Following the shooting of Charlie Kirk, Elon Musk has increased his public criticism of left-leaning online commentators Hasan Piker and Destiny.
Following his criticism of Piker, Elon Musk has now accused Destiny of encouraging violence and domestic terrorism. He claims both streamers will face serious consequences for their public comments regarding the death of Ryan Kirk.
I don’t believe this person should be permanently banned from the platform, but Amazon shouldn’t continue to pay them if they’re encouraging violence. That’s unacceptable. Encouraging murder and domestic terrorism is a serious crime, and they should face prison time for it. Once they’ve served their sentence, they can resume streaming if they choose.

Musk’s Latest Comments
I just saw this wild exchange on X – Alex Jones and streamer Grummz were going back and forth, and Elon Musk jumped in to agree that Hasan and Destiny could be facing some serious repercussions. Jones was throwing around a huge number – $100 billion in damages, referencing his own legal battles with the Sandy Hook case – and Musk just flat-out said they’re “in deep trouble.” It’s a pretty stark warning, and it definitely suggests things could get really messy for them.

Grummz and Alex Jones Weigh In
Mark Kern, who goes by Grummz online, is pushing for legal action and bans on the platforms used by streamers Piker and Destiny. He alleges that Kirk’s family is getting ready to file defamation lawsuits and is asking his followers to gather examples of past statements made by the streamers.
Alex Jones claims the outcome of his trial could lead to Hasan and Destiny facing even larger financial penalties than the $1.4 billion he was ordered to pay.

Destiny and Hasan Facing Fallout
Streamer Destiny (Steven Bonnell II) caused controversy on *Piers Morgan Uncensored* by initially declining to denounce the murder of Kirk until Donald Trump urged calm. He also suggested that conservatives like Kirk should be concerned for their safety at public gatherings. Hasan Piker has also received criticism for previous statements, some of which contained aggressive language towards those with opposing political views.
Details on the Kirk Shooting
Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was reportedly attacked last week while giving a speech at Utah Valley University. Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson of Utah and charged him with murder. Reports indicate Robinson was in a relationship with someone who is transitioning to a woman.
Wider Fallout Across Entertainment and Media
The debate surrounding Kirk’s death has spread beyond politics and into the entertainment world. Several well-known figures, including Tim Russ from *Star Trek*, actor Michael Keaton, and Ava Raine (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter), have received criticism for their statements. The video game industry has also seen a response, with companies like Bethesda, Blizzard, Epic Games, and SEGA facing backlash after employees shared disrespectful comments online. The comics world has been affected too; DC canceled the *Red Hood* series by Gretchen Felker-Martin due to controversial remarks, and Stephen King had to remove and apologize for inaccurate information he posted about Kirk.
