Oh my god, Gen V! It’s basically a spin-off of The Boys, which I’m already obsessed with, and it’s even BETTER. It’s all set at Godolkin University – a college for superheroes, basically! They’re training these students to become the next big heroes, but it’s SO messed up because it really makes you think about what it *means* to have powers when everything isn’t black and white. Season one was incredible, and thankfully, they gave us season two! It dropped on September 17th, and I’ve been counting down the days. I’m telling you, you NEED to watch this, and I’m here to tell you exactly how!
Gen V season 2 release date and OTT Platform
Season 2 of Gen V launched on September 17, 2025, with the first three episodes available immediately. New episodes will then be released every Wednesday, culminating in the season finale on October 22, 2025. Cast of Gen V Season 2
Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor & Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Sean Patrick Thomas will all be back in bigger roles for the new season. While Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson, sadly passed away, the show won’t be recasting the role. Instead, the story will continue without his character.
Gen V Season 2 plot
Season 2 of Gen V picks up where the show’s connection to The Boys left off. This season introduces a new dean at Godolkin University, played by Hamish Linklater, who believes Supes are better than regular humans. He’s training them to be soldiers, which will likely cause a major conflict and a full-scale war between Supes and humans.
This season follows the characters as they deal with difficult situations in a drastically changed world. Set at Godolkin University, the show promises plenty of drama and unexpected turns as they face new obstacles.
