Show fate who’s boss with the ultimate Iuno build for Wuthering Waves! Iuno is a powerful 5-Star character who uses Gauntlets and deals Aero damage. As a Resonator, she excels at boosting her teammates and keeping them alive, making her a great choice for Support or Sub-DPS roles.
Iuno’s gameplay centers around activating her Lunar Cycle state, which gives her access to her core abilities. She enters this state by using either Resonance Skill or Resonance Liberation, both of which also replenish her Sentience – a resource unique to her. While in Lunar Cycle, Iuno can float instead of jumping, and her Heavy Attack changes, letting her switch between two distinct modes.
Okay, so when you first start, you’re in Half Moon mode. Basically, when I attack with the Moonring in this mode, it does Aero damage, but it’s special because it also builds up my Resonance Liberation and restores my Sentience. It’s a really good way to get things going!
Iuno’s New Moon mode lets her attack with the Moonbow, inflicting Aero damage that also qualifies as Resonance Liberation damage. While in this mode, she can spend Sentience to boost her Basic Attack, Resonance Skill, and Dodge Counter damage, heal teammates, and gain Concerto Energy faster.
Once Iuno’s Concerto Energy is maxed out, her powerful attack changes to Absolute Fullness. This ends her current Lunar Cycle and deals Aero damage that also counts towards Resonance Liberation. It also creates the Full Moon domain where she stands. Allies inside this domain recover health and stamina, and those near it gain a shield that builds up the Blessing of the Wan Light buff. This buff increases damage dealt by Iuno from all sources, stacking up to ten times.
Iuno works really well with characters who create shields, and she can also boost her own damage because she can shield herself in battle. Plus, her special outro ability makes the next powerful attack from a teammate even stronger.
Best Iuno weapons – Wuthering Waves
Iuno’s main weapon, Moongazer’s Sigil, significantly increases her damage output. It boosts her critical hit rate, attack power, and Resonance Liberation damage. Plus, when Iuno has a shield, the weapon allows a portion of her Resonance Liberation damage to bypass the enemy’s defense. This effect stacks up to five times and automatically maxes out whenever she uses her Intro Skill.

Best Iuno Echoes – Wuthering Waves
Like Augusta, Iuno works really well with the Crown of Valor, which boosts her attack and critical hit damage every time she gets a shield – and she gains shields easily. To complete her build, add two pieces from one of the Aero sets for even more Aero damage. The Lady of the Sea is the best main piece for Iuno, as it deals Aero damage and increases both Aero damage and Resonance Liberation damage.

Best Iuno teams – Wuthering Waves
Iuno works really well as a secondary damage dealer, especially for characters who can protect themselves with shields. However, she’s flexible and can fit into many different team setups.
- Augusta (Main DPS), Iuno (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)
Iuno works exceptionally well with Augusta because Septimont’s Ephor can really boost the Full Moon domain, and Iuno significantly increases damage from heavy attacks. Plus, she provides extra healing, which is always helpful. Shorekeeper or Verina are commonly used to round out the team.
- Iuno (Main DPS), Ciaccona (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)
Iuno could easily be the primary damage dealer, especially if paired with a secondary damage dealer like Ciaccona or Jianxin, who would help increase her overall damage.
