‘She Said Maybe’ (2025)
I’m so excited for this new movie coming out on Friday, September 19, 2025! It’s a German-Turkish rom-com about a woman named Mavi, who grew up in Hamburg, and suddenly finds out she’s part of a really rich Turkish family. It sounds like things get complicated quickly as she tries to figure out her new family and a totally changed love life, jumping back and forth between Germany and Istanbul. The cast looks amazing too – Beritan Balcı, Serkan Çayoğlu, and Sinan Güleç are starring, and there are a bunch of other great actors like Meral Perin and Cansu Tosun involved as well!
Buket Alakuş and Ngo The Chau directed the film, based on a script by Ipek Zübert. CB Medya and its collaborators produced it. Recent announcements and industry reports have confirmed the actors and crew involved, and that the film will be released in late September.
Tell us which of these you’ll press play on first—and why—in the comments.
