In the ’90s, it was mostly us children who determined what we would build with LEGO, using our own creative ideas. While the results were seldom perfect, they were always enjoyable. One time I even attempted to create a LEGO bowl, intending to pour cereal and milk into it. As you can imagine, it didn’t hold liquid well and made quite a mess. Being a child, I couldn’t be expected to know that! Despite this, LEGO has become so commonplace and its design so recognizable that we no longer need to build everyday objects ourselves; instead, they offer pre-made ones such as salt and pepper shakers.
The cubic salt and pepper shakers look like oversized, 600 times bigger, single-peg LEGO studs, one in black and the other in white. It’s common knowledge that most folks use the white one for salt and the black one for pepper, but you could switch it up if you want to play a prank. The product description on LEGO suggests these shakers are suitable for all ages, so even your simple four-year-olds can appreciate them.
