PEACEMAKER’s Season 1 Soundtrack Getting Vinyl EP Release

Instead of pondering if you’re truly eager to experience it, Mutant seeks to find out are you really into it, are you really keen on knowing about it? Clearly by “it” we refer to the soundtrack for Peacemaker season one. The HBO Max series is now available for a home musical release, featuring a fresh four-song vinyl EP. And TopMob is offering you an exclusive first glance at the sole album that encompasses peace, rock music, and an eagle that gives embraces.

In partnership with WaterTower Music, Mutant is releasing the first physical soundtrack for the first season of Peacemaker, named “The Eagly P”. The vinyl record, weighing 140gm and coming in striking colors, features music from the show. On Side A, you’ll find the iconic opening sequence track “Do Ya Wanna Taste It” by Wig Wam, along with “Peacemaker Rock Theme Jam” by Clint Mansell and Kevin Kiner. Flip it over to Side B, where you’ll hear “Pumped Up Kicks” performed by John Murphy, featuring Ralph Saenz, as well as a piano version of “Home Sweet Home” sung by none other than John Cena himself.

As a devoted cinephile, I’d like to share that this record comes adorned with unique artwork courtesy of Phantom City Creative. The front and back are graced by the ever-loyal (non-human) companion of Christopher Smith, Eagly. His striking visage can be seen on the cover, nestled within Peacemaker’s helmet, while he stands proudly on the back with his master. Together, they cut an imposing figure, vigilantly guarding peace for all.

Either that or Peacemaker is about to say something really offensive. Either/or.

Starting from today, September 12th, you can purchase The Peacemaker Season One “Eagly P” priced at $25 from Mutant’s online store. Pre-orders begin at 10 am PT. Moreover, it has been announced that a Peacemaker Season Two Soundtrack LP is in the works for later this year.

It doesn’t surprise us that such news has come about. What does surprise us is the delay in releasing a Season One album for Peacemaker. Admittedly, we’ve been eager to listen to its soundtrack all along.
