Even if someone offered me money, I wouldn’t watch that movie; but it seems Focus Features and AMC Theaters have a different idea! They’re offering gift cards to anyone who watches more than one film from Focus Features’ upcoming lineup at AMC Theaters.
And if you see all five you will get an online gift card worth a whopping $200.
This autumn, dedicated cinema-goers have the opportunity to convert their beloved hobby into free merchandise. By attending multiple screenings at AMC Theatres for Focus Features’ five upcoming films, participants can win gift cards for the Focus Features online store through the Ultimate Focus Features Experience Sweepstakes. The eligible movies are “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale“, “Anemone“, “Bugonia“, “Hamnet“, and “Song Sung Blue“.
Attending two movies gets you a $15 gift card, while three earns you one worth $50. Four films will double it to $100, and if you catch all five, not only do you get a $200 gift card, an exclusive hat, but also an entry into the grand prize sweepstakes. Focus Features refers to this as their “ultimate red carpet experience.” Certainly sounds appealing!
To be frank, even without the main prize, a $200 gift card is an enticing motivation for us to continue doing something we genuinely enjoy. This is particularly exciting because the Focus Features Shop offers merchandise from numerous fantastic films. We’re contemplating using our $200 to purchase four standees of the mustachioed Count Orlok from “Nosferatu”. That way, we won’t let this bonus go to waste.
The promotion for the movie “Song Sung Blue,” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, ends on January 19, 2026, about three weeks after its release. Are there any takers who’d pay you to watch this film or any of its four prequels, even if it’s not your cup of tea? Focus Features is confident they can persuade you.
