In Silksong, there are numerous platforms and perches that seem tantalizingly out of grasp as you progress. All the while, you’ll feel the desire intensifying for the day when you can perform a double jump. Fortunately, this ability becomes available during Act 2, but it comes with a challenging series of platforming trials to master first. Let’s delve into how you can achieve this.
How to get the double jump – HK: Silksong

As a gamer, I discovered that to perform the double jump, I needed to equip the Faydown Cloak first. This cloak is nestled atop Mount Fay, which lies west of The Citadel, accessible via an area known as The Slab. However, before I could conquer Mount Fay, I had to unlock the grappling hook, or Clawline, in Silksong.
You’ll discover that staying out in the cold for extended periods can cause harm. Fortunately, the adverse effects can be reversed by acquiring a cloak. Along your journey, there will be sources of warmth such as lamps and fires that counteract the effects of the cold. If you move swiftly, you’ll avoid any damage from the cold.
Typically, Mount Fay has a single primary route, so stick to the designated paths. Keep in mind that you’ll need to utilize all the skills you’ve learned thus far as you ascend. Upon reaching the summit, engage with the statue, and a scene will unfold, bestowing upon you the Faydown Cloak.
