
Production for the real-life adaptation of Street Fighter is currently underway at Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, with an expected release date set for October 16, 2026.
Under a new agreement between them, Legendary’s productions for films based on video games are set to be distributed by Paramount for the first time, expanding Paramount’s portfolio of major video game movies – this deal comes after Paramount secured a contract with Microsoft for the production of a Call of Duty film.
