Superman 2 gets an official title and release date
In his social media account, James Gunn posted a drawing featuring Superman and Lex Luthor engaged in a fight and simultaneously revealed that the upcoming sequel’s title is “Man of Tomorrow.” The filmmaker also disclosed that the movie will hit theaters on July 9, 2027.
Although the specifics about the movie’s storyline are largely hidden, it has been mentioned before that this film won’t serve as a straight-up continuation of the initial installment.
After the director’s announcement, both Corenswet and Hoult posted distinct pieces of artwork on their respective social media accounts.
In addition to his other titles, Superman is also known as “Man of Tomorrow.” This nickname derives from the title of the 2020 animated movie, “Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
