Key Points
- Level 10 DMG Threshold — 643M.
- Fiend Stats — 25 DEF & MRES, 100 Wind DMG, 50 Water RES
- Bring a DEF/MRES shredder for this fight.
- Optimal Skill Sequence — S1 → S2 → S3 → C1 → C1 → S4.
- C1 only triggers twice per battle, so only 1 team can make use of the vulnerability.
- Make sure not to prematurely trigger C1 (shred skills, Celia’s weaken).
- DoT is necessary for this Fiend. Apply them in the correct spots to gain benefits from S1, S2, and S3.
- Bring DEF Gear. You will need 1 tank to survive C1’s fixed DMG.

Skill Rundown
Search and Grab

At the outset of the fight, let a Damage-Over-Time effect touch the fiend on its right hand (represented by the dark green square in the diagram above). If possible, also afflict the fiend’s right arm with a DoT for skill S2; however, if needed, you can apply it on the following turn instead.
When you inflict the DoT (Damage Over Time) on the fiend, it will receive a weakness, making it easier to harm. On the other hand, if you avoid applying the DoT, the fiend will gain a protective shield. To ensure success, apply the DoT to the fiend.
Rescue Slam

As a devoted fan, if you haven’t yet, let me guide you: Place a Dark Order Tactics (DoT) on the fiend’s left arm, which is represented by the dark green tile in the diagram provided above. Applying this tactic will weaken its chain, otherwise, it will boost its own damage output.
Lifebelt Throw

As a dedicated player, I’d recommend targeting the fiend’s right shoulder with a Dark Green debuff tile (referencing the diagram above). This strategic move can amplify the chain damage the fiend takes, unless otherwise it purges the self-debuffs it inflicted in Skill 1 and Skill 2.
Emergency Dive

Trigger: Head part has been weakened (Triggers only twice per battle).
Any decrease in stats is sufficient to activate this skill, but it’s best to employ a character who specializes in Defense or Magic Resistance reduction on your team, as the fiend has a 25% boost in both Defense and Magic Resistance. Ensure that they reduce the fiend’s stats after their third skill (S3), not before, so that the vulnerability stack combines with the debuffs from skills one, two, and three.
Keep in mind that this conditional skill activates no more than twice during a single battle. If you employ a defensive and magical resistance debuff skill lasting for four turns, it will trigger back-to-back as these are the skills most commonly used for such duration.
You will need a tanky unit to survive this skill.
All Clear
Team change! Now, the following team enters the stage. As for the current ‘Fiend’, it returns to Stage 1 without refreshing its conditional ability.
Hunting the Fiend
S1 → S2 → S3 → C1 → C1 → S4
For the Hunt you’re participating in, it’s best to employ a character with a Burn DPS ability, such as Liatris or Rubia. It’s advisable to avoid using other fire-carrying characters because there isn’t a support character able to apply a Debuff of Time (DoT) for their S3 skill. However, Teresse can utilize her knockback skill for S1 and S2, but not for S3.
In the battle, be aware that the foe possesses a Defense and Movement Resource Efficiency of 25%, making it advisable to employ a shredder against this adversary. On your first team, remember to abstain from activating their shred skill until after their S3 ability has been used, as this initiates C1. It’s not wise to include Celia in the initial squad, as she might accidentally set off C1 prematurely. Instead, utilize her on the second team once C1 has been triggered twice.
In simpler terms, for the challenges presented by C1, you’ll require a resilient tank. Diana equipped with Anti-Dystopia appears to be the most straightforward solution due to her shield capability.
DPS Review
Since applying the DoT (Damage Over Time) effect in S3 is crucial (otherwise the fiend will clear its debuffs), you’ll need to choose between Liatris or Rubia to target the fiend’s left shoulder. If neither of them are available, you’ll be forced to rely on other DoT units like Dalvi, which could significantly reduce your damage output.

As a gamer, I’d say: “When it comes to Liatris, you’ve got to play both flanks because her vault targets across the lanes. Otherwise, she’s pretty straightforward in this Hunt.
Rubia’s ability (Rubia [AoE 6-8]) is particularly advantageous due to her inborn DEF reduction feature embedded within Empress of the Ocean. This trait allows for effective role consolidation. Remember to deploy this skill post-S3 skill activation, ensuring precise timing to trigger her Constellation 1 (C1) benefit.
