The actor appeared on Vulture’s Good One podcast and said a trans actor should play Mystique.

For instance, the character of He-Man has been accepted by many within the LGBTQ+ community for some time. When Kevin Smith created the Netflix series, this gay producer introduced himself into the narrative – even including an episode showcasing He-Man’s bare backside – while also modifying certain female characters to appear more masculine and reminiscent of transgender men.
