Actress Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, was seen out and about with her new adoptive daughter, accompanied by her husband Jake Bongiovi, a day following their heartwarming announcement on Instagram about their latest family addition.
Couple step out as a family of three
During a leisurely walk in the Hamptons, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi seemed happy and comfortable. Millie wore a pastel pink sweater from Mother with bold purple letters on it, teamed with white jeans, sneakers, and a vibrant pink Louis Vuitton handbag. Jake opted for casual attire – a black t-shirt, khaki pants, and a baseball cap, while also pushing the stroller. Interestingly, Millie also carried a phone case embossed with “RWB,” which might suggest the baby’s initials. As per Daily Mail’s report.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, they announced their new family expansion: “This summer brought us our precious little girl via adoption. We’re thrilled to start this wonderful phase of parenthood with peace, privacy, and tranquility. Now, our family of three is complete.” They kindly asked for confidentiality and turned off comments on the post.
Why adoption was important to them
Millie has always harbored the desire to become a mother at a young age, much like her parents who started their family early: “My mom gave birth to her first child when she was 21, and my dad was 19. This aspiration of mine predates my relationship with Jake,” she expressed on the Smartless podcast.
She expressed, “I’ve always aspired to become a mother, much like how my mom nurtured me.” Jake agreed with this ambition, and Millie declared, “In my perspective, there’s not much difference between having your own child and adopting a child… Our home is a place where everyone feels welcome.” Jon Bon Jovi, Jake’s father, has now become a grandparent for the first time. He expressed his approval, stating that it doesn’t matter how old you are as long as the couple continues to grow together.
In 2021, Millie and Jake began their romantic journey. They became engaged in April 2023, and exchanged vows at a private wedding ceremony held in May 2024. A grand reception took place in Italy several months afterward, celebrating their union.
