After seven long years, Hollow Knight Silksong has officially become a part of the “legendary-yet-delayed” game trio alongside Half-Life 3 and GTA 6. But now, we finally have a release date! In an exciting trailer unveiled today, it’s confirmed that Hollow Knight Silksong will launch on September 4, 2025 – just two weeks from now!

In simpler terms, this trailer didn’t reveal much new gameplay compared to previous clips and previews, but it did give us a sneak peek into some exciting features. For instance, now we can swim in the game, which should make water-related sections more enjoyable rather than frustrating. We also got another glimpse of the grappling feature, and when combined with the newly previewed glider, it seems like it will offer intense platforming experiences.

Peeking at the map also provided us with thrilling stats, including the fact that the game boasts more than 200 distinct adversaries to battle and over 40 formidable bosses to conquer. Thus, when the launch date arrives, it’s likely that we’ll all spend a considerable amount of time engaged in this game.
