On platform X, the user Apocalyptic Horseman has created a mystery with an enigmatic tweet. In reaction to an image from the Peacemaker Season 2 premiere depicting James Gunn hugging Kumail Nanjiani, the user posted a hint suggesting, “It appears that something is indeed unfolding.

In a response to a tweet suggesting Deadline reported Nanjiani wouldn’t play Booster Gold, Apocalyptic Horseman clarified, “Actually, Deadline didn’t confirm that. They merely mentioned it as an unverified speculation.

Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet, the shared image of James Gunn and Kumail Nanjiani online has been seen over 1.7 million times, adding more excitement to the rumors suggesting that Nanjiani might be joining the DC Universe.

James Gunn Previously Shot Down Nanjiani Rumors

It’s worth noting that there have been mentions of Nanjiani linked with the character, Booster Gold, in the past. However, James Gunn has tried to dismiss these rumors.
