Rabbit Trap” revolves around Daphne (played by Rosy McEwen), a musician, and her husband Darcy (Patel). They shift to a secluded house in Wales with the intention of completing their latest project – a decision that raises suspicion (first red flag). It’s no secret that small towns and isolated locations can be downright spooky.
Upon arrival, they begin their work. Darcy collects some peculiar audio samples from the woods, which are unsettling, and it seems their activities have disturbed some ancient Welsh folklore magic.
In simpler terms, Jade Croot unexpectedly shows up at their doorstep, initially appearing helpful but soon behaving suspiciously. As depicted in the Rabbit Trap trailer, strange events unfold that potentially drive a wedge between this couple. The atmosphere is filled with growing suspicion as reality and fantasy start to intertwine, creating an air of paranoia.
What Is the Release Date for Rabbit Trap?
Written and directed by Bryn Chainey, Rabbit Trap will hit theaters on September 12.
