Marvel enthusiasts, buckle up! I’m thrilled to share that the forthcoming Disney+ series, titled “Vision Quest,” is looking like it’s going to be an absolute must-see for us fans who can’t get enough of the Marvel universe. This spin-off from WandaVision promises a captivating journey that I simply can’t wait to embark on!
Based on a recent discussion at Star Trek Las Vegas, showrunner Terry Matalas shared intriguing insights about the cast’s roles in an upcoming series. Titled “Vision Quest,” this eight-episode production slated for Disney+ in 2026 is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Six and delves deeper into the story of White Vision, portrayed by Paul Bettany.
The show welcomes back beloved characters, including Paul Bettany reprising his role as Vision, our cherished synthetic hero. Previously, James Spader, Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, and Orla Brady have been part of the cast. At a Star Trek Las Vegas event, it was announced that Todd Stashwick will portray Paladin, a character less known from Marvel Comics.
In the world of comics, Paladin is a formidable mercenary, boasting extraordinary physical power, speed, and endurance. He frequently takes on jobs for the highest payers yet occasionally demonstrates a noble character. On the other hand, Orla Brady, recognized for her portrayal of Laris in Star Trek: Picard, has been cast as F.R.I.D.A.Y., an AI that was later used by Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit following Jarvis’ transformation into Vision. During a panel discussion, Matalas expressed, “It’s been a pleasure collaborating with Marvel on the project.
In March of 2025, filming for the series titled Vision Quest commenced at Pinewood Studios located in London and concluded by the end of July. The project is being spearheaded by Terry Matalas, who is also helming several episodes, with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali directing other parts of it. Originally hinted at in October 2022 as a spin-off from WandaVision, Jac Schaeffer was initially attached as the primary writer for the series.
By May 2024, Matalas assumed control to revamp the series, ensuring its continuity with the MCU’s cinematic exploits. Brace yourself for Vision Quest, as it delivers more emotion, action, and unexpected twists within the MCU on Disney+ in 2026!
