Disney Jr. Expands Preschool Lineup with First-Ever Avengers Series, Spider-Man and More

Disney Junior is expanding its lineup with a variety of new shows based on popular Disney, Marvel, Star Wars (Lucasfilm), and Pixar brands, including the debut of the first preschool-oriented Avengers series. This news was shared during the “Disney Jr. Let’s Play!” event at Disney California Adventure Park.

New Series and Specials

In 2027, you can catch the new series titled “Cars: Thunder Racers” on both Disney Jr. and Disney+. This offshoot of the original Cars continues the story with familiar faces like Lightning McQueen, Mater, and introduces new characters Pipes and Miles in Radiator Springs. Original voice actors Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Tony Shalhoub, and Cheech Marin reprise their roles. Additionally, Leah Lewis, Yuri Lowenthal, and Sheryl Lee Ralph join the cast to bring fresh voices to the series.

In an exciting twist from the upcoming “Marvel’s Iron Man and his Amazing Pals” series (airing August 11 on Disney Jr., with a repeat on Disney+ the next day), I can’t help but get excited about “Marvel’s Avengers: Tiny Titans”. This new show brings miniature versions of Earth’s mightiest superheroes to life: Iron Man (Tony Stark), Captain America (Steve Rogers), Hulk (Bruce Banner), Black Panther (T’Challa), Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) and Thor. As they team up, these young Avengers embark on a journey to become the best versions of themselves while taking on iconic villains. I can’t wait to see their adventures unfold!

Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man Team Up with the Avengers! Two separate special episodes are on the horizon. The first episode airs on Disney Jr. on October 16, followed by a release on Disney+. In this adventure, Spider-Man joins forces with Iron Man and the Avengers to thwart the villainous duo of Ultron and Green Goblin. A spooktacular Halloween-themed special is scheduled for 2026.

As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that starting September 29th on Disney Jr., and October 2nd on Disney+, I’ll be joining Mickey, Minnie, and their friends in celebrating Halloween with “Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Songs: Halloween”. These delightful stop-motion music videos are packed with catchy tunes as our beloved characters get into the spooktacular spirit of the season!

These stop-motion short films will debut on Halloween (Sept. 29), followed by festive episodes coming in December.

As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! The much-loved, Emmy-winning series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, is set to continue its magical journey with Seasons 2 and 3. Get ready for more adventures in 2027 and 2028, as we delve deeper into the modern world of our beloved Disney characters!

As a cat-loving movie buff, I’m thrilled to share that starting September 22nd on Disney Jr., and October 1st on Disney+, Season 3 of “SuperKitties” is ready to pounce! The exciting “Su-Purr Wild” arc will find our feline heroes venturing into the heart of Kittydale’s untamed Wild Jungle. Get ready for a wild ride!

The eagerly awaited third season of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” is set to premiere this Fall. This series, taking place 200 years prior to “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, follows young Jedi trainees as they learn about the Force, traverse the galaxy, assist distressed citizens and creatures, and acquire essential skills on their journey to becoming full-fledged Jedi. In Season 3, these young Jedi engage in the realm of droid maintenance, forming a friendship with a droid merchant named Dotti and three new droids: Beepers, Dozer, and Gigi.

Disney Junior is broadening its influence by merging beloved series such as the Avengers with fresh original content, all designed to acquaint young viewers with esteemed personalities.
