Now, gamers worldwide can claim their very own shiny Wo-Chien in-game, marking the first time this Pokémon has ever been available in its shimmering form. It’s an amazing feeling to be part of such an accomplishment!

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process of obtaining your radiant Wo-Chien in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and we’ll also explain who is qualified to receive the free Pokémon as a gift.

Pokémon SV: How to get shiny Wo-Chien 

Players can now obtain a free radiant Wo-Chien through the Mystery Gift function in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. At present, this is the sole method to acquire a shiny Wo-Chien, as the creature is in-game shiny-locked and cannot be found naturally in its shimmering form.

To redeem your present, initially, unlock the menu and hunt for the Poké Portal within it. After finding it, move down the list to reach Mystery Gift, and then tap on “Receive via Internet”.

The game may take a moment to load and connect you to the internet if needed, then it will search for new gifts. Among them, you’ll find two intriguing presents: a radiant Wo-Chien and a “Grass Tera Shards and More Gift”. While both are appealing, the shimmering Wo-Chien is surely the main attraction.

Receiving the Grass Tera Shards Present grants every player 100 units of Grass, Bug, Poison, and Fairy Tera Shards. These items enable players to alter the Tera type of their Pokemon.
