On Thursday, August 7, the General Hospital summary unfolds a bustling day in Port Charles. Events include an unforeseen fire department call for Anna, a kiss-sharing moment between Ava and Cody, Drew putting pressure on Sidwell, Alexis advancing her strategy against Ava, and Ric covertly making strides to dissolve his alliance with her.
Anna’s plan interrupts Emma’s mission
At the swimming pool, Anna showed up with her dog Outback following complaints about barking in her apartment. She suspected Emma and Gio of plotting something against Professor Dalton and confronted them. After discussing it with Felicia, Anna feared Emma might take action that very night. To thwart this, Anna phoned the fire department for an overdue inspection at the lecture hall, which ultimately resulted in the cancellation of the lecture. Though Emma felt irritated, she refused to abandon her plans.
Ava asked Ric to come swim with her, yet he chose to be with Elizabeth instead. Ava then contacted Cody, who showed up for a bit of flirting by the poolside. Ava played ice cubes on herself and Cody to keep cool before they exchanged a kiss. Cody brought up their previous altercation where she had struck him, but Ava urged him to go ahead and try again. Seeing their intimate moment, Kristina proposed to Molly that they depart for the lake instead.
Drew confronts Sidwell and seeks help for Willow
Drew located Sidwell with the intention of obtaining crucial information which might assist Willow in retrieving her children. He cautioned Sidwell that his failure to comply could lead to complications for him. Subsequently, Drew consulted Martin about legal assistance but was informed that no action could be taken at present. Additionally, Drew disclosed to Alexis that he and Scout were considering schools in Washington, D.C., as they prepared for a relocation.
In a covert move, Ric engaged Martin in secret to assist him in terminating his business deal with Ava without her awareness. At Laura’s workplace, Anna concealed Outback when Mabel, the HOA president, dropped by to lodge a complaint about the barking. Upon playing a recording of the barking, Mabel inadvertently triggered another round of barking from Outback. Consequently, Laura suggested that Anna might need to seek a new home for her pet due to the disturbance.
Jordan had reason to believe that Sidwell was involved in questionable business dealings with Marco, and he shared his concerns with Laura. During a gathering with Lucy, Jordan, and Sidwell, Lucy agreed that Deception would remain silent regarding evidence pertaining to Sonny. However, even after this agreement, Sidwell appeared uncomfortable about the entire situation.
