Ridge rescues Brooke after boat incident
In yesterday’s installment, events began as Ridge rescued Brooke who had lost consciousness while in the water following a fall from a boat. Earlier, Nick had already fainted, leaving Ridge to swim and retrieve Brooke. With assistance from those aboard another ship, he successfully brought her on board.
Initially, Brooke wasn’t taking any breaths, prompting Ridge to administer CPR. Following chest compressions and rescue breaths, she began to show signs of response. While unconscious, Brooke had a vivid dream where she was on a beach with Ridge and saw a brilliant light. Upon regaining consciousness, Ridge kissed her and pledged never to underestimate their relationship again. He also swore to address the issues between them.
At home, Donna and Katie engaged in a discussion about Brooke and the speculation that Nick might be planning to propose. They noticed Brooke’s absence on social media, which piqued their concern. Their chat suggested that something was amiss, even before they discovered the true events that unfolded on the boat.
Finn confronts Grace at the hospital
In the grand Spencer residence, Liam and Hope conversed about the contrasts they observed between Grace and her former spouse, Reese. Liam, somewhat oblivious to Grace’s true actions, described Grace as being like an “angel” in comparison to Reese.
At the hospital, Finn became enraged upon discovering the truth from Grace. She revealed that Liam indeed had a brain bleed, but she deceived everyone by claiming he had a tumor in order to peddle a miracle cure. Grace admitted that she gave Liam medication designed to mimic symptoms, hoping to expedite the experimental procedure and exploit Bill’s wealth.
Grace admitted feeling the strain from gambling syndicates, attempting to shield herself and her children in the process. However, Finn felt deceived by her actions, as they had violated his trust and Liam’s. He accused her of sacrificing her honor for a million dollars and inflicting unwarranted suffering.
Although visibly angry, Grace implored Finn to conceal the truth. She pleaded with him not to reveal it to Liam or Bill and sought his forgiveness. Finn seemed to grapple with the predicament before responding immediately.
