On August 5, 2025, Arrowhead unveiled another update for Helldivers 2, available on both PC and PS5 platforms. This latest patch, version 01.003.202, includes essential repairs to address problems that hindered players from accessing items linked to DLC or Warbonds they had purchased.
In addition to their work, the developers have removed three causes behind game crashes, such as one that used to happen when players personalized their weaponry.
Changes have been implemented on the recently introduced portable teleporter known as the LIFT-182 Warp Pack, which players can carry. In first-person mode, the visual effects will no longer appear because they seemed overly extravagant from that viewpoint. Additionally, players are now unable to employ this gear for escaping evacuation shuttles at the end of a game… Sure do have some enthusiastic combatants out there!

Fixes
- Fixed a crash caused by tinkering with weapon customization.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when enemies despawned after being killed.
- Fixed crash after getting killed by explosions.
- The Laser turret now displays correct heat build up.
- The LIFT-182 Warp Pack FX no longer shows when in first person mode.
- Disabled LIFT-182 Warp Pack fields around shuttles, preventing any Helldiver escapees. You are done, it is time to go home.
- Fixed desync between clients when using the LIFT-182 Warp Pack to get out of a vehicle.
- Fixed issue with the AR-32 PACIFIER being unable to fire for a second after reloading.
- Fixes for enemy navigation in cities where they could not traverse certain areas.
- Fixed an issue where some players were unable to access items tied to their DLC or Warbonds
- Fix for some emotes snapping the Helldiver torso when standing near a hellpod drop
- Fix for Manic Laughter emote not triggering sound on ship
Balance
- PLAS-45 EPOCH: Decreased spread by 75% to improve the weapon’s accuracy.
