Kuro Games reveals Iuno for Wuthering Waves 2.6

Kuro Games has unveiled Iuno as a new playable character set to join Wuthering Waves in Version 2.6. She is a powerful 5-Star Resonator and one of Septimont’s renowned high priests. The people view her as a gifted prodigy due to her unique talent for predicting the future by observing moonlight transformations. However, this talent also carries a sinister aspect.

Sometimes what appears as blessings can take on a negative aspect when viewed differently. While others might agree with this perspective, Iuno refuses to conform to traditional views. Instead, she seeks to introduce change into the unchanging nature of destiny, just as she introduced moonlight to contrast daylight,” her official description states.

According to legend, she has the ability to transform everything she observes into a projectile called the Moon Arrow. The moon, which changes position throughout the year, may at times appear stationary and consistently follows a cycle… until it’s secured by Iuno and is granted renewal.

The name Juno, similar to Augustus, traces back to its Roman roots. In the Roman mythology, Juno is depicted as the wife of Jupiter, who was considered the principal deity of the state. Interestingly, the imagery and symbolism associated with Juno appear to be opposite to that of Augustus. For instance, Juno signifies the moon, while Augustus stands for the sun; Juno represents a religious figure, whereas Augustus governs the state; Juno is linked to water, but Augustus is connected with fire.

Augusta is set to get involved in the action of WuWa 2.6. It remains to be seen if this addition will impact the plot or their in-game actions. We’ll find out more once the update drops within the next few weeks.
