A fresh sneak peek for Season 2 of Gen V has been unveiled, and excitement among fans is palpable! Amazon Prime Video officially announced that the series will return on September 17, 2025. Mark your calendars, as the initial three episodes will be made available on that date, with new installments being released each week until the grand finale on October 22.
The second season resumes immediately following “The Boys” Season 4. Marie Moreau and her companions find themselves back at Godolkin University after a difficult hiatus, yet things have noticeably altered. A new dean, portrayed by Hamish Linklater, is now in charge, who appears to be preparing the Supers for military service. With a potential war brewing between humans and Supers on the horizon, the group stumbles upon a clandestine program that could drastically alter their circumstances.

The majority of the initial actors are returning, with Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Asa Germann all making a comeback. Joining them is new addition Hamish Linklater as Dean Cipher. Fans will also notice Chace Crawford reprising his role as The Deep, along with Valorie Curry appearing as Firecracker – both are familiar faces from the series The Boys.
Regrettably, Chance Perdomo, who portrayed Andre Anderson, will not feature in this upcoming season. Tragically, he passed away in March 2024, and Amazon Prime Video has announced that his character will not be replaced.
The filming commenced in May 2024 but didn’t end until October, with a delay following the unfortunate passing of Perdomo. It was confirmed in June 2024 that Hamish Linklater would be joining the cast.
Michelle Fazekas is the single executive producer responsible for this current season. Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind “The Boys”, announced that the second season of “Gen V” will provide a peek into the fresh universe that emerged at the conclusion of Season 4.
The latest preview and artwork hint that the upcoming season will delve deeper into darkness and escalate the tension further. Now, fans can better anticipate the direction in which this thrilling superhero saga will unfold.
