As gamers advance through “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers,” they’ll encounter a door made of stone with a red line running vertically down it. This door pops up several times throughout the game, and each time, there are two choices to make. Since the results of these decisions differ, players may find themselves pondering which path to take and which one might offer the most benefits. This guide provides insights about the stone door situated in the Tang Emperor Palace within “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Where Is the Red Line Stone Door in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
Upon entering the grandeur of the Tang Emperor Palace, I found myself compelled to delve deeper into its mysteries. The path to my left seemed to promise more secrets yet untold. A quaint house and a wooden ramp, not unlike those in old stories, were my first discoveries. Ascending the ramp and descending the ladder that followed, I stumbled upon an enemy concealed within a protective shield. Defeating him, I turned my gaze to the left where a sizeable door stood, leading me back to the Shu Sanctum. The linear path ahead, as I climbed the stairs, was filled with adversaries. A descent on a set of stairs led me to a stone door on my right, marked by a distinct red line down its center. Interacting with this gate presented me with two intriguing options.
- The Winged Ascension
- Feathered Transcendence
Should You Choose The Winged Ascension or Feathered Transcendence in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (Tang Emperor Palace)?
Should you opt for the Winged Ascension path, the gate will unfold before you, revealing Sheng – Lasting Vigor (Blessing) on the ground. This blessing increases the duration of damage evasion whenever Alacrity is activated. The first option may seem underwhelming, but there’s more to discover if you select the second choice instead. It doesn’t come with a blessing like the first one, but it does offer something else intriguing.
When you choose “Feathered Transcendence,” you’ll be transported to a secluded spot within the Palace known as Lotus Pond. Straight ahead, there’s an enhanced foe that you can defeat for a single Faint Red Feather and a unit of Red Mercury Essence. Additionally, on one of the beds nearby, there’s a Full-Grown Red Mercury waiting to be collected before you proceed through the door leading to the right side of the Palace. If you venture left instead, you’ll come across a garden area where the Boatman is working. Speak with him, and he will reward you with Crystalized Red Mercury. After that, there’s another Full-Grown Red Mercury to be found on a grave in the same area.
To clarify, choosing option 1 means you’ll be unable to reach the Lotus Pond’s entrance and consequently lose a chance for a brief encounter with the Boatman.
