Disney Brings Out the Big Guns: Avatar 3 Trailer Attached To Fantastic Four

Disney isn’t holding back when it comes to the upcoming The Fantastic Four. They are linking the first trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash with the Marvel reboot, and you can catch a glimpse of it exclusively in theaters this weekend.

First Look at Avatar: Fire and Ash

This weekend, enthusiasts attending the premiere of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” can expect a special treat – the first public exhibition of the trailer for the third installment of Avatar. It’s rumored to be the same footage that was unveiled privately at CinemaCon earlier in the year, and as of now, it won’t be accessible online.

The trailer returns viewers to Pandora, spotlighting two new Na’vi tribes:

  • The Wind Traders – sky dwellers who fly balloon-like craft
  • The Fire People – mounted warriors who ride flying beasts and fire flaming arrows

In this instance, the conflict concludes as a Na’vi plummets from the sky. The mood is somber now, with Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) expressing his concern to Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), “We can’t keep living like this, my love. We can’t live amidst this hatred.

What’s the Story?

The story, titled “Fire and Ash“, seamlessly continues where “The Way of Water” concluded, as Jake and his kin forged an alliance with the underwater Metkayina tribe in their fight against intruding humans.

Currently, they find themselves in opposition to a group known as the Ash Nation, once harmonious Na’vi who have abandoned their tranquil customs and taken up arms against Jake’s tribe. A simmering internal dispute is growing, foreshadowing a broader conflict that may engulf Pandora.

Avatar 3 Release and Franchise Outlook

  • Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters December 19, 2025
  • Avatar 4 is scheduled for December 21, 2029
  • Avatar 5 lands on December 19, 2031

In simpler terms, if “Fire and Ash” earns $2 billion just like the first two films, it will set a historical record by making “Avatar” the first film series to have three individual movies grossing over $2 billion each.

Fantastic Four release

This week, “The Fantastic Four: The First Steps” begins its release, starting with special previews on Thursday. On Friday, it will be shown in wider cinemas. Matt Shakman is responsible for the direction.

The film features Pedro Pascal in the role of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby portraying Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn taking on Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing Ben Grimm/The Thing.
