Don’t Tap the Glass: Tyler, the Creator Drops 9th Studio Album, All We Know About Rapper’s New Music

On Monday, Tyler, the Creator unveiled his ninth album as a rapper, offering his enthusiasts ten fresh tunes to enjoy.

On Friday evening, I proudly unveiled my new album, along with an exciting range of merchandise, right here on the Golfwang site. In typical style, I shared a sneak peek of the album’s “Don’t Tap the Glass.

As the crowd erupted in applause, they couldn’t help but notice that the decor within and without the venue mirrored the poses of the rapper featured on his latest album.

Speaking about the latest collection of tunes from the artist, it’s worth mentioning that he teamed up with Pharrell Williams and Diddy for this project. Before officially announcing the album, the hip-hop artist had been hinting at these tracks on his social media platforms for approximately a week.

Everything about Tyler, the Creator’s new album

The album “Don’t Tap the Glass” comprises ten tunes, including tracks titled Big Poe, Sucka Free, Stop Playing with Me, and Don’t Tap That Glass/Tweakin. This collection runs for approximately 28 minutes and 30 seconds in duration.

This new album serves as a sequel to last year’s Chromakopia, which, much like its predecessor, was put out by the rapper with minimal advance publicity.

As a dedicated follower, I couldn’t help but notice the artist subtly hinting towards the Easter eggs for his upcoming album before its release. During his concert at Brooklyn, the camera focused on a crate of records as Tyler was organizing them. However, it wasn’t until the artist unveiled his new songs that fans finally recognized the crate containing the album among those records.

In the very first track of the album, listeners can enjoy Williams’s voice. This opening number goes by the name “Big Poe”. Furthermore, Diddy teamed up with the rapper on a track called “Pass the Courvoisier Part II”.

In terms of his career, not only did Tyler launch his latest album but he also concluded the New York segment of his global tour. Now, the musician is planning to visit Japan, South Korea, and Thailand for upcoming tour stops.

Don’t Tap the Glass is available to stream on multiple audio platforms.
