It seems that Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham could be preparing for a significant return, hinting at a potential Fleetwood Mac reunion.
Based on news accounts, it appears that the rock band’s members have had strained relationships since guitarist Buckingham was excluded from the group back in 2018. However, more recently, there seems to be a possibility of reconciliation, as suggested by similar posts on their respective social media platforms six years later.
Apart from Nicks and Buckingham, Fleetwood Mac consists of several other members: Christine McVie plays the accordion, Mick Fleetwood is on drums, John McVie handles the bass guitar, and Peter Green strums the guitar.
Will Fleetwood Mac have a reunion?
On Thursday, Stevie Nicks posted a handwritten excerpt from the 1973 song “Frozen Love” by Buckingham Nicks on her Instagram that said, “And if you move ahead…” A little while later, Lindsey Buckingham shared a comparable phrase, “I’ll join you there.
Additionally, the drummer from the band, Mick Fleetwood, posted a video of himself enjoying the song as well. This video was also uploaded onto their official Instagram account. In the description, he penned, “Enchantment in the past, enchantment in the present.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but dream about the day when Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham put their past issues behind them. In my mind, I keep wishing they would reconcile and publicly announce that everything is fine between them once again. After all, they’ve had an unparalleled career that has touched millions of lives, myself included.
Speaking further on his desire to perform with the band again, Fleetwood expressed, “I long for those days of playing together like we once did. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that somehow, next year, a band somewhere will invite me back to play the drums or another instrument.
He mentioned, “I enjoy working on an album for the possibility of touring with it the following year. To be honest, not Fleetwood Mac.
Although no band member has announced a reunion as of now, enthusiastic fans eagerly anticipate seeing them all united again.
