LEGO is taking fans on a trip to the sun-kissed Ligurian coast with its latest creation: the LEGO Ideas Italian Riviera set (21359). This 3,251-piece model, tailored for adult builders, beautifully encapsulates the allure of a Mediterranean fishing village. It features three vibrant, slanted structures that house an ice cream shop, diving equipment store, and lively fish market.

Alex Sahli, a fan designer from Oregon, submitted his creation to the LEGO Ideas platform. This program transforms popular ideas from the community into actual sets. Drawing inspiration from Italy’s Cinque Terre, Sahli emphasized architectural angles, vivid colors, and textural details. He expressed particular pride in the realistic roofing and stonework of his design.

This collection comprises 10 mini-figures such as a grandmother making pasta and an ice cream vendor, adding a touch of everyday coastal living to the construction process. Preferred customers of LEGO can start purchasing from August 7, with the general public able to buy it from August 10. Priced at $300 USD, purchases made between August 7 and August 13 will receive a complimentary LEGO Mediterranean Scene set as a bonus, while stocks last.
