Denise Richards Accuses Estranged Husband Aaron Phyphers of Domestic Violence, Requests for Restraining Order

In response to alleged acts of physical abuse and domestic violence by her former spouse, Aaron Phypers, Denise Richards has petitioned the court for a protective order. As reported by US Weekly, the actress alleges that she was subjected to such mistreatment at the hands of the reality television personality.

In the courtroom, Richards stated that during their marriage with Phypers, he frequently choked her and even made threats against her life. They got married in 2018 but separated six years later.

As reported by US Weekly from court documents, the actress known for her role in Wild Things disclosed that during their relationship, Aaron would often choke her viciously, squeeze her head forcefully with both hands, squeeze her arms tightly, strike her face and head violently, and aggressively ram her head into the bathroom towel rack.

She added that Phypers “made a threat against my life, pressing his knee into my back until I begged him to stop for fear that he might kill me. He also expressed intentions to access my laptop and phone, intending to download all my text messages.

In addition to discussing the film, she brought up an incident where her ex-partner had made a threat towards her. He’d weep and plead with her to stay, even swearing he would seek help. Yet, “nothing of that sort actually transpired.

In addition, during the allegations made against Phypers, the actress asserted that he persistently clutched her left hand firmly. Later in the day, it was disclosed that Aaron pursued her, aggressively seized both of her arms, shoved her, and dragged her to the ground according to Richards.

Let me tell you, I took a tumble down the steps and boy, did it hurt! Then, you won’t believe it, but Aaron snatched my laptop and started sending messages that weren’t even mine to begin with, all without asking for my consent.

Denise Richards asked Aaron Phypers to maintain a distance of 100 yards from her, and to give back her laptops along with any information he’d downloaded from her electronic devices.
