First Steps”.
These trailers will premiere in theaters when The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits the big screen.
This summer, the much-anticipated film “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” joins the lineup alongside blockbusters like “Jurassic World: Reborn” and James Gunn’s “Superman”. All three have been breaking box office records this year. Given such a scorching schedule, it makes perfect sense for Disney to showcase fresh footage from their highly anticipated upcoming films in order to reach as many cinema-goers as possible.
The third installment in James Cameron’s “Avatar” franchise is titled “Avatar: Fire and Ash“. Alongside directing duties, Cameron also collaborates as a producer and editor on this film, partnering with screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Additionally, the story development receives valuable input from Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno.
This film continues the storyline from “Avatar: The Way of Water” (2022) and features a number of familiar actors such as Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, and Sigourney Weaver. Additionally, newcomers David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin are set to join the cast.
Back in 2006, James Cameron expressed his intentions for creating Avatar sequels if the initial movie was successful. True to his word, following the extraordinary success of the first film, he declared the production of the subsequent two films in 2010, initially planning to release the third one by 2015. However, as the scope of Cameron’s vision grew to encompass four sequels, and due to the complexities involved in developing innovative underwater filming techniques, progress was delayed.
Filming for the movie “Avatar: Fire and Ash” started simultaneously with “The Way of Water” in New Zealand back in September 2017, and it finally concluded at the end of 2020 following over three years of production work.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” However, it seems this epic journey has taken longer than anticipated, with the release date being postponed no less than nine times! The latest update came in August 2024, pushing the premiere to December 19, 2025. But fear not, fellow fans, as we’re not done yet! The following sequels, “Avatar 4” and “Avatar 5,” are currently under production and slated for release in 2029 and 2031 respectively. So, let’s keep the faith and patiently wait for these incredible cinematic adventures to unfold on the big screen!
Alongside the debut of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” Disney is offering fans an early peek at several of their highly anticipated future films by premiering accompanying trailers.
