The long-awaited update on meta progression enhancement by Sad Socket, as mentioned in their 9 Kings roadmap, has been successfully deployed. This upgrade significantly increases the flexibility that players have when choosing perks for future gaming sessions.
Instead of a fixed set of benefits for each king, players now receive nine customizable perk slots for every monarch. These slots can be filled with any perks they have acquired, and with the addition of 52 new perks in the same update, there are over 80 unique options to choose from.
Each king retains exclusive benefits that are only available when chosen, while universal and multicolored traits can be selected irrespective of the ruling monarch. Previously, the King of Nothing’s set of perks belonged to the universal pool, so he has now been assigned a fresh selection of unique advantages.
As a dedicated player, I’m thrilled about the update that does away with the level cap! Now, I can unlock fresh perks every time I level up, making my gaming experience more rewarding and exciting.
For those players who’ve reached an advanced level, there’s no need to worry about losing their accomplishments. Instead, they’ll discover that they’ve already gained access to numerous exciting new features to enjoy!
In the recent update, King’s balance has been adjusted; the initial stage of the game is now slightly more challenging, while Endless Mode gradually increases its level of difficulty at a slower pace.
