Hello. This is Brown Dust 2 PD Jun-hee Lee.
Was today’s 2nd Anniversary livestream enjoyable for you? We felt more anxious than typical because it was our debut live performance in front of our audience, but it turned out to be a special occasion that allowed us to put aside our responsibilities as developers and players momentarily. Instead, we could appreciate the game together—much like a guild gathering that strengthens bonds among members. We look forward to connecting with fans during future broadcasts in other regions.
In this Technical Update Summary, we’re going to provide you with all the essential information regarding the significant changes that were discussed during our last broadcast, in case you weren’t able to catch it.
New Event Pack: Splash Queen (
June 19th)
Title for the upcoming 2025 Summer Event Kit has been named “Splash Queen”. With the vibrant clothing hue and the figure displayed on-screen, it’s likely many of you have already taken a wild guess as to who she might be!
During this summer’s Splash Queen festival, which takes place at a water park, we follow the story of Wilhelmina, the principal of Beirun Elementary School. Eager to connect with students who often fear her, Wilhelmina organizes an adventurous field trip to the water park. However, events take an unexpected turn when the children mysteriously disappear within the Water Bomb attraction. Determined and undeterred by water gun attacks, Wilhelmina embarks on a quest to locate the missing students.
Can we count on Wilhelmina to ensure the kids return safely and make the field trip a success? Looking forward to seeing it unfold!
New Seasonal Event: Midsummer Dream (June 19th)
Following, we’re thrilled to announce our next exciting venture: The “Midsummer Dream” Seasonal Event! This event is set in the same beloved water park seen in the Summer Event Pack – Splash Queen, and signals the highly anticipated comeback of Justia.
At Schera’s behest, Venaka and the lifeguards choose to grant Justia – a girl who has only known training – a serene respite as if in a dream. They pull out all the stops to deceive Justia into thinking she’s in a dream. After much struggle, they finally manage to convince her… However, just as things were looking good, events started to unfold that could only occur in a dream within the water park. This tale revolves around Justia’s dreamlike holiday and Venaka and the lifeguards’ frantic efforts to safeguard it. We eagerly anticipate your participation in our Seasonal Event, “Midsummer Dream”!
New Costumes Introduction
Water Park Queen Wilhelmina
In this tale, I, Water Park Queen Wilhelmina, shine brightly as the leading lady. As the energetic principal of Beirun Elementary, I navigate through the pandemonium of the Water Bomb arena in search of my beloved students.
Maintaining my signature multi-hit approach, I now acquire an additional advantage, allowing me to erect even taller Chain stacks – much like Masquerade Bunny Celia does. This unique ability gives rise to a central theme revolving around the construction of towering Chain stacks.
Poolside Fairy Refithea
In the “Splash Queen,” the second character is known as Poolside Fairy Refithea. This trickster figure possesses an innate knack for water-based activities. She offers a Property Damage boost to teammates and decreases their Skill Point costs when they prepare their abilities in sequence. Her combat strategy primarily revolves around supporting her allies.
Poolside Guardian Zenith
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but express my excitement about the ultimate outfit of Splash Queen – Poolside Guardian Zenith! This lifeguard sensation teams up with Nebris at our favorite water park. Her combat strategy revolves around focusing on one adversary with intense Concentrated Fire and amplifying subsequent Chain DMG.
Moreover, her unique skill is “Search,” which might imply that we’ll be spending less time with Lathel and Jayden in the field from now on. Can’t wait to see what Zenith has in store for us!
Dream Bride Eclipse
As the lucky winner of both the 1.5th Anniversary popularity poll and costume concept poll, I’m back in a dazzling new look! My latest costume is called “Dream Bride Eclipse,” and it’s available for all players to collect. You can gather all 6 copies of this stunning outfit by completing event missions, which will allow you to fully upgrade it.
The skill associated with this costume maintains a familiar concept: dealing damage to enemies over a wide area. However, the unique aspect lies in its attack range, which differs from my existing skill set, promising an exciting gameplay experience!
Skill Cutscenes
Here are preview images of the skill cutscenes for the costumes above.
Pickup Information
Announcement on Swimsuit Repeat Schedule
First, the swimsuits of Justia and Teresse will appear in June, followed by Schera’s and another appearance of Teresse’s in August.
The popular “Beachside Angel Teresse” is set to be showcased twice—first in June, then again in August.
New Fated Guest (June 19th)
Water Park Queen Wilhelmina will be added as a new Fated Guest.
1. In anticipation of a parent-teacher meeting, Wilhelmina, who typically has a stern demeanor, decided it was necessary to practice genuine smiles.
2. The narrative unfolds as the tutor, Wilhelmina, receives guidance from the Master on how to flash a more authentic grin.
3. As she’s often perceived as serious or even cold, one might wonder what Wilhelmina is like when she’s smitten. I hope that players can discover her secret allure in her Fated Guest tale.
Prestige Skin (June 19th)
The Prestige Skin evolved from the thought, “How could we enhance or highlight this swimsuit design a bit more?” Instead of inventing something completely different, we chose to elaborate on a single concept. As a result, it seemed fitting to make it a purely cosmetic customization option rather than a new costume with battle functionality. Thus, we opted to introduce the “Prestige Skin,” inspired by an existing costume design.
A Prestige Skin transforms the look of a particular outfit once worn. It comes with a fresh artwork, exclusive skill animation, unique interactions, and distinctive dash effect during gameplay. To use it, you must first possess the matching base costume. However, this does not influence the battle performance in any manner.
To put it simply, in order to use the Midsummer Dream Justia Prestige Skin, you need to have previously obtained the Pool Party Justia costume.
* It’s worth noting that the Pool Party Justia costume can be acquired not just by chance through draws but also by completing the Normal difficulty of the Summer Knight Event Pack for the first time.
However, even if you only possess the skin and not the underlying costume, you can still appreciate the Prestige Skin’s unique cutscenes, artwork, and interactions on your home screen.
Prestige Skin Lucky Draw
You can win the Midsummer Dream Justia Prestige Skin by participating in the Lucky Draw for Prestige Skins. This draw requires special tickets, which are bundled together for purchase. Each play grants a random reward from among the first to fifth-tier prizes. The top prize, the Prestige Skin, will only appear after a specific number of draws have taken place. Once this threshold is reached, you can potentially win the Prestige Skin as your reward.
1. The cost of a package that includes 2 Prestige Lucky Draw Tickets is $7.99.
2. You’ll receive 2 additional Prestige Lucky Draw Tickets for free if you log in during the specified timeframe.
3. For your information, the maximum amount you might spend (Pity) to obtain a single skin from the entire prize pool is roughly around 69,000 KRW, which is approximately $50.
Illustration
In the future, you’ll notice Justia adorning a more lavish ensemble than her initial Pool Party Justia look.
Field Character
Instead of standing at attention, the backup action for the in-game character has been transformed into a charming stance. Additionally, a splash effect similar to an ice cream drop occurs while dashing.
Skill Cutscene
Interaction
In this particular sequence, you’ll find a blend of demonstrative animation and player-controlled action. By incorporating Prestige Skins, we’ve transformed one part of the demonstrative scene into an interactive one, empowering players not just to observe the animation, but also to participate in the actions unfolding within it.
Previously, we found it challenging to showcase certain characters as Fated Guests due to minor romantic aspects in their main storylines. However, Prestige Skins are more about the character’s interactions rather than their backstory, providing us with more flexibility in deciding who they interact with. This opens up opportunities for us to broaden the variety of costumes featuring interactive elements, even those that were previously restricted. First and foremost, we hope you enjoy your time engaging with Justia using these Prestige Skins!
Fiend Hunter (June 19th)
In the past two weeks, we encountered the entity known as Procyon 001 (Fire), also recognized as our adversary. This foe is unique due to its ability to escalate the harm inflicted as it accumulates Chain stack levels.
In weeks 3 and 4, a fresh villain known as Trauma Flamingo (Light) makes its appearance. This character’s strategy in battle centers on either undermining the enemy or boosting allies to tilt the odds of combat in their favor.
Guild Raid (June 19th)
For the month of June, the guild raid boss is named “Rucersingha,” the Lord of Wind. In its combat strategy, this boss progressively lowers the Magic Resistance of your team members. However, as a trade-off, it offers them potent battle enhancements within its fighting style.
Story Pack 18 SALVATION (
July 17th)
For our gamers, here’s a sneak peek at the summer content we’re working on. In July, you can expect to delve into part of the July update that we’ve begun preparations for.
In Story Pack 18, Salvation, we reach the climax of season 3’s main narrative. Our group chases after Azir through Morpeah’s rift in dimensions, eventually arriving at the ominous temple of Cocytus. Convinced that Kalien must be rescued from Azir’s grasp, Morpeah guides us onward.
As Morpeah led the way, I found myself standing before Azir’s chamber. With a touch on an ancient book, we were whisked into Azir’s recollections. Justia and our group delved deep, seeking to free Olivier from wherever he was held captive within these memories. Will we succeed in rescuing him and defeating the elusive Azir, who disappeared with Adeline? Keep an eye out for Story Pack 18! Furthermore, an animated PV for Story Pack 18 is slated to drop in July.
New Seasonal Event: Going Home (
July 17th)
Up next, we have the special seasonal occurrence titled “Homecoming,” set to launch in conjunction with Story Pack 18. Notably, this event is approximately 1.5 times larger than our regular seasonal events.
The novel “Going Home” narrates the tale of Olivier, recounting her history and the events that unfolded following her descent from being a valkyrie of Frellea to the surface. Through this story, you’ll observe Olivier’s unwavering fight to safeguard what needs protection, regardless of the harsh destiny that awaits her.
Instead of the cheerful approach found in the Summer Pack, Story Pack 18 and our current seasonal event adopt a more introspective tone, forgoing humor to create a deeply moving narrative experience. We’re excited for you to dive into this emotional journey!
New Minigame Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury
Presenting “Fiend Hunter: Fury’s Frontier,” an action-packed minigame spinoff that brings the thrill of Fiend Hunter to life as an action game! In this cooperative multiplayer experience, players take control of their characters in real-time, battling the menacing fiends that invaded in the original Fiend Hunter.
Each fiend presents three levels of difficulty, catering to various skill sets. Two players can join forces and team up for an exciting multiplayer adventure! In multiplayer mode, a supercharged fiend emerges, inspired by the “Very Hard” single-player setting, demanding strategic teamwork in 2-player battles.
Initially, the colossal figure you notice on screen goes by the name Berserker. This formidable enemy is infamous for its sweeping attacks and electric shock waves that can leave opponents helpless. Its attack radius is expansive, and its movements are challenging to anticipate due to their complex patterns. Therefore, it’s advisable to carefully study its tactics and approach with caution.
Following up, we encounter the agile and pyro-themed creature named Fiery Tiger. Unlike Berserker, this fiend exhibits an uncommon combat style, characterized by nimble movements and fiery assaults that inflict burn damage over time, draining your health points gradually. Given its speed and elusiveness, it’s advisable to adopt a tactical approach from the flanks rather than attempting a direct confrontation. In the end, you’ll encounter a pair of fiends in total.
Afterward, I’ll present the characters and their controls. The characters have five primary buttons: one for movement, basic attack, special attack, defense, dodge, and healing.
Most actions, with the exception of moving and healing, will deplete your stamina, making its management essential.
All characters can execute ‘Perfect Guard’ or ‘Perfect Dodge’ by timing their defensive or evasive actions precisely in response to enemy attacks. A successful ‘Perfect Guard’ will immediately activate a character’s unique bonus skill, while a successful ‘Perfect Dodge’ grants a temporary invulnerability state, enabling you to dodge danger safely.
We’ve prepared a total of three characters, and each character has a unique combat style.
Initially, Blade is a character who inflicts damage by quickly accumulating Sword Energy through continuous swift attacks. Later, he utilizes rapid movement and unique abilities to capitalize on an opponent’s vulnerabilities. Mastering the art of gauge control and timing is crucial for effectively playing Blade.
Mastering this allows for fast-paced and dynamic gameplay.
Following, we encounter Teresse. This character functions as a charge-based damage dealer, but moves slowly and delivers potent single blows. The effect activated depends on the level of charge, so strategic decision-making is vital to get the most out of her power. She excels at causing Grogginess, making her an ideal choice for shifting the momentum in battle.
Lastly, let’s talk about Granhildr. This character is a damage dealer who maintains a consistent offensive presence while ensuring survivability. In tactical engagements, she boosts her own abilities and impairs enemies. By adapting to different scenarios through various effects, she can dominate the battlefield and improve the overall combat effectiveness of the team.
Try using various combinations to take down the fiends in multiplayer mode.
Every monster has vulnerable spots scattered across its body, and striking these areas inflicts higher-than-normal damage upon it.
If enough harm is inflicted on a certain area, it will be obliterated, making the monster temporarily powerless for a while. During this vulnerable period, all attacks are likely to be critical hits, which means it’s an excellent opportunity to use your most potent skills. However, if the monster keeps getting hurt, it will become enraged and grow much stronger. Therefore, it’s crucial to fight tactically instead of just attacking relentlessly.
In single-player, you can select among Normal, Challenging, and Extremely Challenging levels of difficulty. However, in multiplayer, the game ramps up the challenge to match the intensity of the Very Hard setting, but the enemies are enhanced to accommodate two-player cooperative play.
In this setup, you have two ways to vie against fellow players:
1. A solo ranking system that focuses on setting your own personal best scores.
2. A team-based ranking system where different groups strive to establish the top time together.
In this game, you won’t get in-game money as a prize for playing, but instead, you’ll earn My Room furniture by completing tasks. Moreover, even though these tasks don’t come with rewards, they provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills, so enjoy the challenge!
Minigame Rerun: Apostle Random Defense (June 19th)
The Apostle Random Defense, which garnered much affection during the April Fools’ update, is coming back.
Furthermore, changes in balance will be applied to each property, with an emphasis on improving units that excel at single-target strikes.
From now on, the game mode will be available permanently, so we look forward to you enjoying it frequently!
My Room Expansion (June 19th)
At last, the moment many of you have been anticipating has arrived – it’s time to unveil the My Room expansion! Now, your small dorm room will be transformed into a spacious living area. Take a look at the design above which demonstrates four interconnected sections. This is how the entire system will be revamped. You’ll now have the freedom to decorate multiple rooms seamlessly connected together.
You’ll have the flexibility to customize and embellish as many as nine 3×3 rooms. In essence, this amounts to a total of nine rooms at your disposal.
These nine rooms can be positioned anywhere you desire within your space.
With this layout consisting of nine rooms, you’ll be able to accommodate up to twenty characters, place nine carpets, and arrange seventy pieces of furniture.
In this upcoming update, a new type of currency named “Deco Coin” will be introduced. Previously, you needed Gold to purchase furniture from the My Room shop. However, since Gold is used across multiple content areas, we’re now offering “Deco Coins” specifically for simpler and less demanding transactions involving My Room furniture.
Deco Coin can now be utilized in the My Room extension as well, and certain goods that were previously obtainable exclusively with Gold will become available for purchase using either Gold or Deco Coin.
Additionally, new furniture added in the future will be available for purchase only with Deco Coin.
As more locations become available where you can earn Deco Coins and more merchants accept them, keep an eye out for the exciting expansion of your spending options!
A new exclusive popularity feature is being introduced in My Room, enabling you to browse through and discover the imaginative realms created by diverse users, as these spaces garner more popularity.
In addition, a new “Guild” section will be incorporated into the “Explore” menu for easy access to your fellow guild members’ private spaces, My Room.
In these rooms, there are no limitations on the amount of recognition you can bestow. However, you’ll have to wait until the next month before you can award popularity to the same account again.
Guide Pass (June 19th)
The Newbie Pass will be rebranded as the Guide Pass. This pass will consist of a total of 8 stages. The first four stages constitute Guide Pass 1, which spans a duration of 12 days, while the remaining four stages make up Guide Pass 2, lasting for 20 days. By engaging in play throughout this period, you can complete all stages within a total of 32 days.
The Guide Pass provides unique benefits to fresh players in an exciting fashion. Specifically, upon finishing the initial mission of the Guide Pass on day 1, players can obtain New Hire Nebris as a special reward, captivated by her allure.
12 Selectable Costume Tickets will be made available next, each ticket enabling new players to pick one from a selection of 12 beneficial costumes.
Additionally, players will receive 10 UR III equipment pieces, 10 UR II equipment pieces, Rank-up Stars, Slimes, Magic Crystals, and other growth resources. The bounty concludes with the awarding of a total of 15 Tears of Goddess.
Of course, it’s important to note that the Guide Pass isn’t exclusive to newcomers; both new and current players will have access to it. This means that every player can advance using the pass and earn the same rewards.
Recommended Costume Selective Ticket
As a gamer, I’d put it like this: This Guide Pass has a top-notch bonus – the “Selective Ticket for Recommended Costumes.” In simpler terms, it allows me to pick out some cool costumes specifically recommended for my gaming character. Pretty sweet, right?
This pass provides outfits for twelve characters in all, among them being the three central roles: Helena, the B-Rank Idol; Lathel, the Homunculus; and the enigmatic Adventurer known as Diana.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.
The Guide Pass spans a duration of 32 days in total. For the initial 12-day segment, labeled as Guide Pass 1, you will have an opportunity to collect all 12 special costume selection tickets recommended. These tickets enable you to pick any costumes that appeal to you freely.
1. You can choose six identical costumes for two separate characters to maximally enhance them, or gather one of every one of the twelve costumes to enrich your wardrobe.
2. Pick six matching costumes among two distinct characters to fully level up both, or get a single costume from each of the 12 available options to expand your collection.
Beyond that, enhancements are being made at a system level for the “Pass” feature. The event banner, which was situated at the top right corner of the home screen, has been eliminated because it was found to be ineffective. Instead, you’ll now have direct access to information about your Guide Pass, where you can start missions or instantly claim rewards.

Stray Cat Rou | Dalvi Swimsuit | Morpeah Bunny Girl | Eclipse Wedding |
From now on, the special costume distribution event missions that were previously only available during anniversary events will become permanent fixtures. Following the 2nd Anniversary update, missions for Stray Cat Rou, Summer Vacation Dalvi, and Beach Vacation Morpeah will be added to the Event tab. These missions can now be taken on at any time without any time constraints. Users who already own these costumes are still able to complete the missions. If a user already has a +5 enhanced version of a costume, they will receive Golden Thread as a reward instead.
Character Balance Update (June 19th)
After our 1.5th Anniversary event, we enhanced the balance of 12 underutilized costumes. For this second anniversary, a total of 23 costumes will receive balance adjustments. We’ll keep an eye on and optimize low-usage costumes to make them more active in gameplay.
Fated Guest Voiceovers Added (June 19th)

Nebris | Morpeah | Loen | Teresse |
For Fated Guests, we’ve included voice-overs in both Korean and Japanese for Nebris, Morpeah, Loen, and Teresse during encounter events. For interactions, only Korean voiceovers will be provided due to certain situations. We appreciate your understanding on this.
Title Call (June 19th)
After that, you’ll hear a voice line announcing the title on the main screen. Once “Touch to Start” is active, a voice will play, depending on your language settings. There are nine different voice lines available, each featuring characters like Justia, Scheherazade, and Rou in their respective languages.
Improved Interaction (June 19th)
I’m sure everyone is aware that one of the greatest strengths of Brown Dust 2 is the character interactions.
Previously, it was a bit complicated since you had to set up the interaction from the home screen before entering.
Now, once you acquire a special cutscene interaction for a character for the first time, a dedicated button will appear on the home screen,
allowing you to jump straight into that character’s interaction instantly.
Furthermore, we’ll introduce an innovative function enabling users to swiftly transition between characters while engaging in conversations once they access the dialog interface.
In other words, we’re keeping the current approach for displaying cutscenes on the home screen as is. These new features, however, are designed specifically to enhance user interaction.
EXP and Reward Adjustment (June 19th)
The following are improvement updates related to EXP and reward adjustments.
The amount of Refining Powder available is set to significantly grow:
1. In the establishment known as Glupy Diner, the supply will triple.
2. For daily and weekly missions, the increase will be five times the current amount.
3. Moreover, the Guild Shop will see a fivefold increase in Refining Powder without any alteration in its price.
We’ve boosted the development pace for both Gear Crafting and Alchemy skills. Now, experience points (EXP) earned will be multiplied by 15, significantly expediting your journey from Novice to Master levels!
Adjustments to Certain Achievements’ Difficulty Levels:
Some of the achievements that were previously too challenging will now be made more manageable. To illustrate, achievements that initially needed 1 million Dia but later required 5 million, or those that initially demanded 1 billion Gold but then asked for 10 billion, have been revised to fit better with the current gameplay dynamics.
The number of attempts allowed for upgrading and refining gear at once is being boosted. Specifically, the maximum number of times you can upgrade or refine a single piece of equipment will be increased from 100 to 300 for upgrade attempts, in order to enhance your chances of reaching +9 in a single try. For repeated refinements, the limit has been raised from 300 to 1,000, which should help alleviate the fatigue that comes from constant refining.
In the upcoming announcement, we’ll provide further information about specific drawings and offers, along with details concerning our business model structure.
Next, we’ll give you a preview of what’s being prepared for the July update.
Fiend Hunter Improvements (July 17th)
Level Selection Battle
In Fiend Hunter, previously, players with high Combat Power had to start from scratch and clear stages sequentially from level 1 every season, which was quite a hassle. With this update, that problem has been addressed! Now, instead of laboriously clearing the lower-level stages one at a time, you can choose the stage you wish to conquer, and all stages below it will be marked as cleared automatically, allowing you to collect your rewards for each stage simultaneously. However, keep in mind that you can only freely select levels up to level 10.
Previous Levels Considered Cleared
Furthermore, should you find yourself unable to complete the chosen level, a fresh aspect will be introduced allowing for previous levels to be marked as completed based on the harm inflicted on the foe during that specific fight.
If you engage a Level 10 Fiend, which has 100 Health Points (HP), and another Level 9 Fiend that has 80 HP, and you manage to inflict 90 damage upon the Level 10 Fiend, it would mean you’ve defeated up to a Level 9 Fiend in this encounter. The Level 10 Fiend will still retain 10 HP.
By successfully completing the challenges from levels 1 to 9, in addition to defeating level 10, you will be granted all rewards simultaneously. The following day, you can engage in a “Speed Battle” on level 10, with its health points set back to their original amount.
Rank Segmentation/Hunter Rank
Up next is an enhancement to the ranking system in Fiend Hunter, currently set to show ranks only among the top 1000 users. This might diminish the motivation of users who rank below this threshold, as they may feel less recognized or driven due to a limited sense of honor and competition.
In the upcoming update, a fresh “Player Ranking System,” dubbed as “Hunter Rank,” will be implemented. This innovation aims to provide players with a more accurate and detailed assessment of their standing within the game.
Even though you’ve advanced up to level 10 without making it into the top 1,000, you can still savor the process and feel a sense of accomplishment as your Hunter Rank continues to climb higher.
Glupy Diner Improvements (July 17th)
Glupy Diner is coming back with an even more vibrant ambiance! Unlike our previous feature on My Room expansion which emphasized decoration fun, Glupy Diner offers a unique form of entertainment by showcasing diverse restaurant scenes for your observation pleasure.
Initially, speech balloons or thought clouds are placed over the characters’ heads, offering a peek into the private musings of both employees and patrons.
Afterwards, here’s some info on interactive events happening at Glupy Diner:
Randomly, events pop up around the diner that you can tap on to get “Deco Coins,” a new currency. These events take place all day long, but there’s a daily limit to how many Deco Coins you can accumulate. You can gather the maximum number of Deco Coins as soon as you enter the diner. Since this money is only used for decorating purposes, those who enjoy decorating are the ones who should participate.
Furthermore, Glupy Diner will now dynamically adjust its ambiance to mimic real-world time changes. This means that different backdrops for various times of day will be shown based on the local time in each location. For instance, if it’s nighttime in reality, Glupy Diner will also visually represent as being nighttime. To enhance this immersive experience, the background music (BGM) will adapt to suit the tranquility of the night hours.
To enhance your experience at Glupy Diner, we’re introducing an option to hide the user interface. You can find this feature on the left side of your screen. With it hidden, you’ll be able to immerse yourself more deeply in the revamped ambiance of the diner.
Battle UI Improvements (July 17th)
At last, we’re enhancing the battle interface! Now, character icons on the battle preparation screen will show knockback directions, and you can view skill details without needing companions. This long-requested feature is here at last, and we sincerely apologize for the wait.
Show Costumes (July 17th)
One distinct characteristic of Brown Dust 2 is its setup where each character has their own unique wardrobe attached to them. This structure has led several gamers to voice concerns about finding the desired outfit within a character. To alleviate this issue, a new functionality will be introduced that enables players to effortlessly browse all costumes available for each character. This enhancement should make it simpler and quicker to locate your preferred costume.
Character Filter Feature Added (July 17th)
Furthermore, we’re planning to introduce a character filter option for players. This feature lets them sort characters based on attributes like Potential level or Awakening status. The filtered data will persist across pages, including the “See details” page, ensuring seamless browsing without having to reapply filters while navigating between different screens.
Character Icon/Name Improvement and Search Feature Added (July 17th)
Beyond that, character previews will now show the character’s name, and we’ve incorporated a fresh search feature to enable searches directly by name. This means you can easily find characters or costumes not only by their names but also by costume names, making it quicker and more convenient to locate your desired characters or outfits.
This enhancement is particularly beneficial for newcomers who found it challenging to recall character or costume names. We anticipate that this upgrade will significantly enhance the user experience when browsing through our collection.
Gear Filter Added (July 17th)
We’re enhancing our search system with a refined filter feature. This way, players can effortlessly narrow down their search results by factors like upgrade level, score, and specific attributes they desire, making it simpler to find the exact gear they need.
Gear Upgrade Rank Displayed (July 17th)
It appears that players have found it difficult to decipher which gear upgrade rank is superior due to the unintuitive display of ranks like CSA and SAA. To alleviate this confusion, we’ve streamlined the upgrade scores into an easily comprehensible table and enhanced the user interface so the score number is now visible directly on the gear thumbnail.
Although some players have already grasped the internal calculation rules and adapted accordingly, this update makes it possible for everyone to clearly understand and utilize the upgrade system more intuitively through an improved UI.
See Gear Details (July 17th)
Earlier, examining gear choices meant tapping on each item separately, making it rather cumbersome. With the upcoming enhancement, we’re introducing a “Gear Details” view that lets you inspect all the options available for every gear item in one go.
Glupy Diner Messenger Improvements (July 17th)
Enhancements are planned for the Messenger service within Glupy Diner. Firstly, a new “Review Past Status Messages” function will be introduced, enabling users to revisit old status messages. Secondly, any Fated Guests not yet added as contacts will now show up in the Suggested Friends List, simplifying the process of finding and connecting with them.
Easier Character Growth (July 17th)
In the past, the monotonous task of manually assigning Slimes and gradually increasing each rank has been rather time-consuming. Now, with this upgrade, you can quickly advance a character from level 1 to level 100, provided you have sufficient Slimes and Rank-up Stars. If you’re short on materials, the character will only be elevated to a level that matches your available resources.
Afterward, I’m eager to disclose some thrilling tidbits that fans would appreciate, including details on upcoming events, fresh merchandise launches, and project updates.

As for the figurine announced today, featuring the captivating Scheherazade, it’s still under production. But don’t worry—we’ll keep you in the loop as we make progress and share updates along the way!
Second Anniversary Goods Update
It’s more than just collectibles!
We’re diligently putting together a range of second anniversary goods.
These items will be accessible for purchase at the previously announced offline gatherings in addition to our online store.
The specific merchandise may differ slightly across events, and we will provide detailed information via notices for each individual event or through updates on our shop.
To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we’re giving you over a thousand free chances to win throughout about 100 days! This includes free draws from banners in the game, missions during events, and prizes during live streams. Make sure to log in often and seize this incredible opportunity offered by our extended summer event!
That’s all we’ve prepared for today.
The graph you saw during the broadcast shows the number of monthly active users for BrownDust2 over the past two years. Initially, after its release, the game reached its highest point, but from then on, the numbers gradually decreased until November, falling to around a quarter of the initial peak. This was disappointing, but we were determined not to let down our loyal fans.
Since that time, we’ve been working hard to increase the scope of each collaboration and anniversary update. As a result, we’ve managed to regain approximately 80% of our initial active user base. With BrownDust2’s 2nd anniversary approaching, we’re optimistic that with your support, we can break our launch-day record once again!
Again, my heartfelt gratitude goes out to those who’ve persisted in backing BrownDust2, as well as the fresh faces joining our adventure. As we conclude today, allow me to offer a unique gift for your kindness.
Note for Developers: Your gifts are ready! You’ll receive 600 Dias and 40 servings of cooked rice. These gifts can be found in your mailbox until June 16, 2025.
Thank you.
