28 Years Later, our forthcoming project, is generating great excitement among fans due to its intriguing plot involving zombies and the promise it holds to astonish us. A significant part of the buzz surrounding this movie stems from its talented cast.
You’ll be treated to an impressive ensemble of beloved actors: Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. It is said that they portray characters who must battle for survival in order to secure their future.
If you’re curious about whether Cillian Murphy is involved in the project, I regret to inform you that, according to reports, the actor isn’t expected to appear in it.
According to reports, Andrew Macdonald, the movie producer, confirmed that the actor from Oppenheimer is expected to reprise his role in the previously mentioned project. It was previously hinted that this actor would return, and he initially gained recognition for his character in 28 Days Later, one of his earlier works.
During an interview with Empire magazine, it was disclosed that the actor won’t appear in the initial movie, but will serve as an executive producer instead. Macdonald shared, “We wanted him to participate, and he wished to join us. He’s not featured in the first installment, but I hope there will be a role for Jim at some point later on.
Fortunately, for those eager to see Murphy in a new project, it’s been reported that he is set to appear in “26 Years Later: The Bone Temple,” due for release in 2026. This production will be helmed by director Nia DaCosta.
Regarding the upcoming film, it’s set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025. The esteemed director, Danny Boyle, will be at the helm, and Sony Pictures Releasing will handle its distribution.
