The spacecraft Icarus I vanished mysteriously without leaving any signs, and it could not manage to ignite the dwindling sun of Earth. In an effort to rejuvenate the sun one more time, Icarus II embarks on its journey, carrying the last powerful nuclear bomb as its payload.

Due to a navigation error, it appears the mission’s outcome is now questionable. Regrettably, with severe damage to their vessel, they could no longer make the journey back home.

After receiving an emergency distress signal from Icarus I, the team decided to steer towards Mercury, believing they could utilize their explosive device constructively. However, the journey proved expensive as they encountered an unexpected issue while exploring the abandoned spacecraft.

Serenity (2005)
