The city has seen numerous women’s murders, rumored to be the work of demons, but it turns out that this time it was not a demon at all.

As a devoted cinephile, I’d rephrase it as follows: I, myself, was apprehended by him due to my alleged demonic nature and the suspicion that I was involved in a string of murders. Later on, Tsukasa, who had been rescued, brought Anzai back home. To my astonishment, he launched an assault against her. However, with his medication, he managed to keep himself in check.

Since Anzai must control his need for violence, similar to other demons aiming for peaceful coexistence with humans, it is later revealed that certain demons can exist among us due to medication. After this revelation, Tsukasa encounters Anzai once more and discovers the secret behind some demons’ existence. From then on, her protector continues to visit her frequently – as he explains, it’s to ensure her safety.

Following a challenging upbringing marked by his parents’ divorce, Haru Kaidou initially moves to Canada with his mom. Later, upon his biological mother’s request, he journeys back to Canada where he encounters a young boy named Ren, who has been adopted by her.

However, it’s worth noting that Ren is quite stubborn and rarely takes advice from others. This summer, Ren and Haru will be together before Ren heads back to Japan. Unfortunately, on their way home from the airport, Haru and his family were involved in a car accident, leaving Haru comatose for about a month. When he regains consciousness, Haru can’t recall the summer he spent with Ren, the tragic car accident that took his parents’ lives, or the fact that his brothers are now living with their grandmother.

In the following years, Haru took up a job as a club host to finance his siblings’ education. However, Ren, who was actually adopted by the couple, moved in with him. Initially, Haru was hesitant due to forgetting their summer past and not feeling prepared. Eventually, Ren would go back to Canada, prompting Haru to follow. A year afterwards, they both returned to Japan and lived with the other two brothers. Gradually, Haru, supported by his siblings and friends, endeavored to educate Ren and potentially assist him in creating a genuine family.
