October was incredibly busy for new game releases, but November is shaping up to be much calmer. It’s actually a pretty quiet month for major, blockbuster games. This is good news for smaller, independent games, which will have a better chance to stand out and get noticed.
We’ve picked out the best and biggest games coming out across all major platforms in November 2025.
Europa Universalis 5 – November 4

Platforms: PC
Grand strategy games have had a fantastic year. It started strong with the release of Civilization 7, and now, with the year ending, we’ve seen several major titles launch, including new content for Crusader Kings 3 and the latest Anno game. Now comes the newest Europa Universalis game, which should appeal to players who enjoy managing empires over extended, large-scale campaigns.
Football Manager 26 – November 4

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch
Football Manager is back after a year off! The new version was initially planned as Football Manager 2025, but the developers took extra time to switch the game to a new engine, Unity, ensuring a smoother experience. This edition includes exciting new features like women’s football and an official license for the Premier League, so you can manage all your favourite teams.
Sonic Rumble – November 5

Platforms: PC
Sonic Rumble, which was previously delayed, is now available to play! It’s a fun, party-style game similar to Fall Guys, featuring Sonic characters and other favorites from Sega. While mainly designed for mobile devices, it will also be released on PC through Steam next month.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment – November 6

Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2
Get ready for more Zelda adventures! The new Hyrule Warriors game arrives this month, and like the previous installment, it expands on the story of the latest Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom. This time, the action takes place long ago, showing events from the memories seen in Tears of the Kingdom.
Unbeatable – November 6

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S
Unbeatable is a standout indie game this month, grabbing players with its vibrant 2D art and engaging rhythm-based gameplay. You’ll use your musical skills to liberate a world where music is forbidden.
Winter Burrow – November 12

Platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S
The recently revealed game, Winter Burrow, is already winning players over with its charm. You take on the role of a tiny mouse bravely venturing out into the winter to survive. It’s up to you to help them on their journey, and despite the freezing conditions, the game has a surprisingly warm and comforting atmosphere – the little mouse can even knit!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – November 14

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S
So, the new Call of Duty is coming out in mid-November, and honestly, the reaction so far hasn’t been amazing. It’s definitely not getting the same buzz as games like Battlefield 6 or Arc Raiders. But let’s be real, I’m still excited! There’s always a new CoD I have to play, and right now there’s a ton of great military shooters out there for fans like me to enjoy.
Where Winds Meet – November 14

Platforms: PC, PS5
Where Winds Meet is an action RPG set in 10th-century China, drawing inspiration from games like Assassin’s Creed. What’s unusual is that it will be free to play when it launches, even though it appears to be a traditional single-player game. It’s still unclear how the game will make money, especially since it’s also coming to mobile devices, but it’s a game to watch out for this month.
Escape from Tarkov – November 15

Platforms: PC
Escape from Tarkov has been available to play since 2017, so you might assume it was fully released years ago. However, the game has just reached its final stage of development – going gold – and will officially launch as version 1.0 later this month.
Deadpool VR – November 18
Platforms: Meta Quest 3 & 3S
Deadpool is making a comeback to video games, but this time exclusively in virtual reality. Players will battle waves of enemies using VR, experiencing all of Deadpool’s signature wit and…unique personality along the way.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide – November 18

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2
It’s surprising to see Deadpool and SpongeBob releasing games around the same time in 2025! The new game, Titans of the Tide, is an action-packed platformer where SpongeBob and Patrick get caught in a conflict between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. You can easily switch between playing as SpongeBob and Patrick, making the platforming experience smoother and more fun.
Demonschool – November 19

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch
Demonschool is an exciting new indie game coming out this month. It combines the everyday life simulation of games like Persona with the strategic, turn-based combat of XCOM. The game features a vibrant and colorful world where a group of high school students battle demons – and, like many Japanese role-playing games, it’s likely they’ll eventually face a powerful god.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – November 19

Platforms: PC
I’m hesitant to mention Moonlighter 2 in these articles because whenever I do, its release date gets pushed back. However, hopefully this time the sequel to the popular indie game will actually launch into early access this month.
Kirby Air Riders – November 20

Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2
Following several detailed previews from Masahiro Sakurai highlighting the game’s extensive content, the new Kirby racing game will be released at the end of the month. There’s even speculation that Kirby could potentially appear in Mario Kart later this year.
Constance – November 24

Platforms: PC
Constance is a beautifully hand-drawn 2D metroidvania game that could be perfect for players who loved Silksong and are searching for a similar experience. Unlike many games in the genre, Constance isn’t set in a dark world – instead, you’ll use a paintbrush to bring color and life to the environments as you play.
