Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition – August 14
This month brings a few refreshed versions of popular games, starting with a remake of the original 40k Dawn of War. Essentially, it’s an enhanced version of the original game with improved lighting, textures, and all content compiled in one package. To top it off, the developers have pledged to maintain the game for easy modding and community contributions, aiming to provide the optimal experience for this classic title.
Madden NFL 26 – August 14

In this latest addition to the series, you’ll be tending to crops, selling your produce at market, and forging friendships with fellow villagers. While there are numerous games similar to this one, Story of Seasons holds a special place as the originator, so it’s always noteworthy when it introduces something new.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – August 28
This month, we’re wrapping up a trio of thrilling remakes, and among them is the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, which revamps an iconic game often hailed as one of the best ever made. Using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, this update delivers stunning graphics, reimagined jungle soundscapes, and additional features. Additionally, a sophisticated damage system is now in place, allowing for more realistic injury depictions on Snake during combat. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance – August 29

Lost Soul Aside – August 29
Although this game may not have received much attention so far, it could turn out to be one of the year’s most surprising successes. Developed by a Chinese studio and published by Sony, Lost Soul Aside, which has been in production since 2016, will also be available on PC and PS5. This action RPG is set in a fantastical universe, with its combat style reminiscent of games like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. While we’ll have to wait and see how it all comes together, the game certainly holds a lot of promise.
