Hello, Full Burst RPG —BrownDust2.
Just a heads-up for my fellow fans! There’s some scheduled maintenance happening on September 24th – it’s a UTC thing, so check the details below to see how it might affect you.
We’ll be performing maintenance from 11:50 PM to 3:10 AM UTC on September 24th-25th (lasting 3 hours and 20 minutes). During this time, you won’t be able to access the game. More details will follow.
1. Season Event “Starlight Child” Update
The ‘Starlight Child’ seasonal event is receiving an update. This update will be live after the maintenance on September 24th and will run until the maintenance before October 9th. Because of a change in the update schedule, the Fiend Hunter period has been extended by one day. The second part of the event’s story will become available, and the Normal and Challenge Battles will be reset. Finally, the Season Event Shop will be updated with new items for purchase.
The AP (Action Points) you buy from the Event Shop will be reset when the current season ends, so make sure to use them all before that happens. After the season ends, the Event Shop will stay open for two weeks, giving you time to spend any leftover event currency on items.
The shop for the Stigma of Dreams event will stay open for two weeks after the event finishes. You’ll be able to use any leftover event currency to get rewards during that time.
We’re updating the bonus costumes available during the Season Event. Here’s a list of costumes that will receive bonuses during the event, which runs from September 24th to October 9th.
Okay, so if I wear multiple costumes that give bonuses during an event, the extra rewards stack up! Basically, the more bonus costumes I have equipped, the more extra currency I’ll earn. It’s a nice little boost for being a fashion-conscious gamer!
Get ready to hunt the “Frenzied Wolf(Water)”! The preparation phase begins after the maintenance on September 24th and lasts until October 1st at 11:59 PM (UTC). You can start hunting on October 2nd at 12:00 AM (UTC) and continue until October 9th at 2:59 PM (UTC). Great news – we’ve extended the hunting period by one day due to a change in the update schedule!
Frenzied Wolf
Born from the gods, this wolf is one of a divine pack. It’s known as the most aggressive of the wolves that protect Paradise’s fortress. Unlike the others who stand guard, it was given the crucial task of ensuring nothing escapes from within. It stands as an unyielding barrier, stopping anything without the gods’ blessing. Its fangs and claws are raised in a terrifying display, blocking even the smallest glimmer of light.
– To enter the Season Event, tap ‘Fiend Hunter’ at the bottom of the UI.
2. Guild Raid Improvements
Guild Raid is moving from its test phase to the official launch! Here’s what’s new and improved for the official season.
To help differentiate rankings when guilds tie in boss battle scores, we’re introducing the Overkill system. This system measures damage dealt *after* a boss is defeated (when their HP reaches zero) and will apply to level 10 boss battles. The Overkill score is calculated by combining the extra damage dealt by the top three guild members with the highest scores in that battle.
We’re adding a practice mode for Guild Raid battles, specifically for both Invasion Defense and Boss Defense. You’ll be able to practice throughout the entire season. This practice mode lets you use support characters to try out different strategies without using up any attempts or earning rewards. Keep in mind that the Recommended Formation feature won’t be available in practice battles.
Here’s what’s new and updated for guilds: Ten new emojis are coming to guild chat and will also be available in the Apostle Random Defense arcade game. During guild raids, the guild button on the home screen will have a new design. We’re also making some improvements to the guild Ranking and Settlement screens. Guilds in the top 0.1% will now see a specific ranking number instead of a percentage. Six new titles related to guild raids are being added, and a new boss will appear in guild raids!
3. Home Screen Improvements
You can now zoom in and out of, and move around, skill cutscenes and character illustrations. These changes will be saved automatically. Zooming and moving skill cutscenes only works when the cutscene is set to loop. You can also zoom in and out of character illustrations when viewing character details on the companion screen.
Okay, so they’re adding a cool new feature! Now, in the settings on the home screen, there’ll be a wallpaper menu. You’ll be able to use artwork from the different packs you own, or from special season events, as your home screen background. Basically, if you’ve unlocked a pack, you can show it off as your wallpaper! Pretty neat, right?
You can now customize the background when using a standing illustration on your Home Screen. To change it, go to Home Screen Settings, select the Standing Illustration option, and then choose a background from the “Background” tab. Please note that you need to have a standing illustration set up first before you can change the background.
We’re adding a “Preview” button to the bottom of the Home Screen settings. Please note that this preview won’t work if Silhouette Mode is turned on. You’ll also find a new setting to control whether cutscene sounds play on the Home Screen. This option is located in the Home Screen settings menu, under Sound.
4. Ability Skill Animation Improvements
We’re making ability skills smoother to use. Previously, characters were frozen while their ability animations played. Now, you’ll be able to skip those animations, letting you move and act more quickly.
Okay, so in the game, I can now customize how my character looks when showing off their special skills! It’s in the settings – I go to the field screen, then find the ‘Field Character Settings’ button (it looks like a running person). From there, I can choose if I want to see my character with the skill effects applied, or just their normal field appearance. It’s a nice little tweak to personalize things!
5. Hunting Ground UI Improvements
We’ve made a few improvements to the World Map and Hunting Grounds. You’ll now see dungeon names displayed on the map, along with descriptions for each one. We’re also showing how much currency you can earn in each Hunting Ground. Finally, we’ve adjusted the difficulty selection screen in Hunting Grounds to work better on vertical screens.
6. Draw Animation Improvements
When you do a 10x draw, you can choose to have the gacha animations play automatically or manually. You can switch between these options using the play button at the top-right of the screen. If you choose manual, you’ll need to tap the screen after each draw to see the next animation. Also, when you get a 5-star character, the background will now show a rainbow effect.
7. Others
Hey everyone, just a quick update on what’s new! They’ve added info about which season you can earn rewards in to the descriptions for the Fiend Hunter Trophy, which is super helpful. Also, because the update schedule shifted a little, some of the current events will last an extra day – awesome! And finally, they’ve added a bunch of cool new ways to customize your ID card, and it looks like these options will change with each update, so there will always be something fresh to check out. The next maintenance is planned for October 9th, so mark your calendars!
Players who attempted gear draws before the improvements on September 10th will receive compensation. For every 100 draws made before the update, you’ll receive a ticket that can be exchanged for ★3 to ★5 star gear.
■ Pickup and New Character Information
You can pick up the Starlight Guardian Tyr Costume and Brionac, Tyr’s exclusive gear, starting after the maintenance on September 24th and before the maintenance on October 9th.
Please note that the information above is subject to change with game updates. For the most up-to-date stats and details, please refer to the Collection menu within the game. The Starlight Guardian Tyr Costume will become available in the Powder of Hope Shop and Selective Draw after the maintenance on October 9th.
2) Brionac : After September 24th maintenance – before October 9th maintenance
Just wanted to share what I’ve figured out about Brionac so far, based on getting her as a UR character! Keep in mind, this is just what I’ve seen at first. If you want all the nitty-gritty details and full stats, definitely check out the Collection section in the game itself – that’s where you’ll find everything!
The Prophetic Dream Darian Costume and Exclusive Gear Revelatio will be available starting October 2nd at 12:00 AM (UTC) and will be removed before the maintenance on October 22nd. After October 22nd’s maintenance, the Prophetic Dream Darian Costume will become available in the Powder of Hope Shop and Selective Draw.
■ Costume and Exclusive Gear Schedule
– Costumes and Exclusive Gear will be added according to the schedule below.
■ Issue Fixes
Hey everyone, just wanted to share the latest updates! It’s great to see the developers addressing so many things. Now when I’m checking out a character’s pickup costume or special gear, if I have a free draw or enough Draw Points for a guaranteed one, the banner pops up right at the top – super convenient! Also, when I chat with the shop NPC, the option to snag Ability Skill Bargains is now right at the top of the list.
They’ve fixed a bunch of battle issues too. A bug in the Tower of Salvation where swapped-in characters’ evasion skills weren’t working is fixed, and now enemies in the Tower of Pride actually show up after you go back to the home screen to play an arcade game.
There were also some UI glitches they’ve sorted out. The ID Card customization is much smoother now, and things like tapping the wrong spot won’t accidentally trigger other buttons. They fixed an issue with the ‘Overpower’ skill and Gloom Glutti, and the camera angle after using ‘Assemble’ looks normal again. They even fixed a voice line bug on PC after finishing Story Pack 6!
Visually, they’ve cleaned up some things – no more weird resources popping up during skill cutscenes for Rubia and Olivier. Plus, ‘Monster Guard’ is now consistently called ‘Fiend Guard’. They also fixed a crash that could happen in the Pandora Escape arcade. You also won’t be able to equip the same gear on multiple characters at once, though any stat boosts from duplicates never worked anyway. The shortcut UI for the Stigma of Dreams Season Pass missions is back, and the text for the ‘Beauty on Duty’ event is now fully visible in Story Replay.
They’ve also made some smart changes to prevent accidental actions – you can’t upgrade or dismantle gear from the Preset Edit screen anymore, and the buttons for crafting/upgrading don’t pop up when comparing gear. Finally, they fixed a bug with Olivier in Mirror Wars and a display issue with character portraits in the Fiend Hunter team formation, and damage numbers in the Apostle Random Defense arcade are updating correctly now. Overall, it’s a really solid update!
Thank you.
