Title Update for Mini Game: “Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury”

– The action mini game, “Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury”, will receive an update. In this game, you’ll control characters to fight against Fiends that appear in the Fiend Hunter series.

– You can find it under Home Menu > Arcade Tab.

– Note that this mini game is designed for Landscape Mode only.

– It offers both single-player and multiplayer options. The multiplayer mode allows up to 2 players.

– In the single-player mode, you have three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard.

– Multiplayer mode presents a challenging level based on the Very Hard setting.

– Each difficulty level has a time limit, and you must defeat the Fiends within this time to progress through the stage.

– The game supports gamepad controls during combat. However, keep in mind that gamepad support is not available outside of combat, like in the main menu.

1) Character Details:
– Each character uses five primary actions: moving, basic attack, special attack, defense, evasion, and healing.
– All characters can perform ‘Precision Guard’ or ‘Precision Evade’ by perfectly timing their defensive or evasive moves in response to enemy attacks. A successful ‘Precision Guard’ activates a unique character skill, while a successful ‘Precision Evade’ offers temporary invincibility.
– The playable characters are Blade, Teresse, and Granhildr.
– [Blade] is a swift melee DPS who capitalizes on openings with quick attacks and agile maneuvers. Mastering Sword Energy management and timing is crucial for this character.
– [Teresse] is a powerful striker moving at a slow pace. A straightforward attacker, Teresse induces ‘Groggy’ through direct collisions.
– [Granhildr] is a sustained-pressure dealer with good survivability. This character manipulates the battle flow using beneficial buffs and harmful debuffs to gain an advantage.

2) Essential Fiend Details:
-Each fiend has vulnerable spots on various areas, and attacking these areas causes increased damage to them.
-When a specific area is damaged enough, it will be destroyed, leaving the fiend momentarily disabled. During this time, all attacks become critical hits.
-If a fiend continues to take damage, it will enter an enraged state, becoming considerably stronger.
-You can hunt two types of fiends: Berserker and Fiery Tiger.
[Berserker]
-A fiend with a dominating aura due to its colossal physique. It manipulates wind and lightning, launching wide-area attacks and electric discharges to incapacitate targets and disrupt the battle’s equilibrium.
[Fiery Tiger]
-A swift-moving fiend that traverses the battlefield like a flame. It applies pressure on enemies with rapid melee combos and emits flames from its body, causing persistent burn damage and shifting the balance of the battle in its favor.

3) Task Information for “Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury” Challenge
– In the “Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury”, you can complete specific Challenge Tasks.
– Successful completion of these tasks will reward you with exclusive My Room items, namely the Berserker Doll and Fiery Tiger Doll.
ㄴ These special items, the Berserker Doll and Fiery Tiger Doll, won’t be available for purchase in the My Room Shop post the conclusion of the “Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury” mini-game.

4) Ranking Details
“Fiend Hunter: Edge of Fury” offers both single-player and team rankings.
Rankings are determined by the speed at which you complete battles.
For single-player mode, only times achieved on Very Hard difficulty are recorded.
In multiplayer mode, rankings are based on two-player teams. If your teammates change, multiple records can be submitted.

1) “Enlarging My Private Space”

– It is now possible to increase the number of spaces within my personal area, starting from the initial single room, up to a maximum of nine rooms.

1. While in Design Mode, you have the flexibility to rearrange each room, conceal rooms, or adorn them using the revamped Edit Tool.

2. Previously, you could position items within a room by tapping on it. Now, interacting with the wall gives you the option to switch the wall on or off.

3. The 9-room setup enables you to place up to 20 characters, 9 carpets, and as many as 70 furniture items.

1) Introducing Deco Coin: A Fresh Currency
– Starting today, we’ll introduce a new currency called “Deco Coin” to be used exclusively within My Room.
– From now on, items that were earlier bought using Gold will be available for purchase using Deco Coins instead.
– Additionally, expanding your room also requires Deco Coins. Here’s the pricing breakdown for room expansions in Deco Coins:

You can acquire Deco Coins through Weekly Quests and Special Quests. For more information about My Room Boosting Missions, kindly refer to the event announcement.

Since Deco Coins have been added as rewards for Weekly Missions, the mission content will also be updated. The specifics of these changes are outlined below.

3) “Let me walk you through the enhancements in ‘Take a Peek’!”

– The ‘Take a Peek’ feature has been reorganized into four sections: Popular, Random, Friends, and Guild.
– In the Popular section, the top 10 rooms from My Rooms that received the highest popularity over the past month will be showcased. Rankings are reset on the first day of each month.
– The Random section will display 10 randomly selected rooms from My Rooms that meet a specific level of popularity and occupancy.
– In the Friends and Guild sections, you can now effortlessly browse through the rooms of your friends and guildmates (including your own)!

4) A “Favorites” or “Likes” system will be incorporated into My Room.

– When visiting other users’ My Rooms, you can tap the heart symbol located at the top left corner to show your appreciation and add popularity.
– Keep in mind that you cannot bestow popularity on your own room.
– Popularity can be given as many times as desired each day.
– There is a limitation, though; you may only grant popularity to a single user once every month.

5) Additional Features

– A new “My Room” button will be placed at the bottom left on the user profile screen.
– Upon entering the My Room shop, your primary room will automatically show up first. Use the left or right arrow keys to browse through different rooms.

Update for Exclusive Character Appearances – “Prestige Skins”

In this update, we will be refreshing our lineup of Prestige Skins, which alter the visuals of certain costumes. When applied, these skins modify the static images, skill cutscenes, and SD character model of the original costume. They also introduce exclusive dash effects and idle animations not found in the base character.

Moreover, features previously limited to Fated Guests can now be experienced on the home screen. These interactions can be enjoyed without requiring a Fated Guest storyline, and they won’t affect combat performance as skills remain those of the original costume.

The first costume compatible with a Prestige Skin is “Pool Party Justia”. If you already own this costume, you can switch to the new skin in its dedicated section. For those who don’t have Pool Party Justia yet, it can be obtained through the pickup draw or by completing the Summer Knight event pack on normal difficulty for the first time.

To equip the Prestige Skin, head to the Companion > Costume Tab. In the lower costume selection area, you’ll notice a “Skin” button above the SD icon for Pool Party Justia. Tapping this will prompt a skin change popup. Even if you only own the Prestige Skin and not the original costume, you can still enjoy the altered static images, skill cutscenes, and interactions on the home screen.

Lastly, Prestige Skins can be acquired through the “Prestige Skin Lucky Draw.” For more information about this event, please refer to the official notice.

Title Update: New 12-Pick “Selective Draw” Replaces Old 6-Pick Version

– The current 6-pick draw is being replaced with a fresh 12-pick draw.
– This updated draw requires a unique currency called the “Selective Draw Ticket”. If you don’t possess this ticket, your regular draw tickets will be used first, followed by Dias.
– In the new 12-pick draw, you need to assign a costume to all twelve slots for an increased probability boost to take effect.
– Only ★5 costumes included in the selected 12 slots will appear in the draw; other ★5 costumes will not be available. However, during the guaranteed ★5 draw (pity at 100 pulls), costumes outside the selected 12 may appear.
– Draw Points are accumulated separately from other costume draws and do not share progress. Any points earned from the previous 6-pick Selective Draw will be reset, and the count will start anew.
– The 12-pick draw pool includes all ★5 costumes added before the latest maintenance. Limited costumes are not part of the pool.
– If a new costume has been added to the 12-pick draw pool, a yellow dot notification will appear.

* As announced in the April 30 Developer Notes, from June 5 onwards, players will receive 1 new Selective Draw Ticket for every 20 pulls made in the previous Selective Draw.

New 1-PICK Selective Costume Draw Announcement

– Starting after the June 18th maintenance, we’ll introduce a new feature, the 1-PICK Selective Draw, where players can choose one specific ★5 costume to focus on. This will continue until before the September 10th maintenance.
– You get up to 10 chances to change your chosen costume. Each selection or modification counts as one opportunity.
– The 1-PICK Selective Draw operates using a unique currency called “Selective Draw Tickets.” If you don’t have these tickets, regular Draw Tickets will be used first, followed by Dias.
– There’s a chance that costumes other than the selected ★5 may appear due to probability. Similarly, the guaranteed ★5 pull (pity at 100 draws) might not yield the chosen costume.
– Accumulated Draw Points are independent from other costume draws and do not carry over progress.
– The draw pool for the 1PICK Selective Draw only includes ★5 costumes added before June 18th maintenance. Limited costumes are excluded.
– The 1-PICK draw pool will be refreshed every half-anniversary.

Upgrading the Newbie Pass to the Guide Pass

– The current Newbie Pass will be swapped for the new Guide Pass.
– This new Guide Pass is structured into 8 distinct stages, with each stage requiring completion to progress to the next. Upon finishing Step 4, you’ll gain access to Guide Pass 2 and the remaining stages.
– During the active period of the Guide Pass, a pass notification will show up at the top-left corner on your Home menu.
– In the game, you can find daily missions and rewards that are clearly outlined. Here’s a brief overview of the level rewards for each stage:

1. “Choose-a-Ticket for Selective Draw” = Applicable for both the 1-CHOOSE and 12-CHOOSE Selective Draws.

2. “Premium Recommended ★5 Outfit Ticket” = Comprises a predetermined set of 12 outfits, allowing you to pick one from the given options.

10. Enhancements to Streamline Home Menu Access for Specific Interactions:

This change aims to make it simpler for users to navigate to specific interactions directly from the home menu, improving overall user experience.

To access the interaction illustration on the home screen, users previously needed to navigate through Edit Home Screen > Set Interaction Illustration. However, we’ve made it easier! Now, a dedicated interaction button is placed on the left side of the home screen. Users can now seamlessly switch characters during an interaction without having to leave and re-enter the home screen first.

– If Silhouette Mode is ON when entering an interaction, the screen will appear black.

“New Feature: Title Announcement” – Here’s what’s changing:

A new feature called “Title Announcement” is being implemented on the login screen.
When you press the “Touch to Start” button, a voice will play, announcing the game title in a random character voice based on the selected language.
Please note that only female character voices will be available for this feature at the moment.
The following characters have been updated with the new title announcement voice:

12. Comprehensive Voice Acting Upgrade for the Tales of Glupy Diner and Fated Guest Narrative:

– The addition of full Korean and Japanese voice acting will enrich both the Glupy Diner and Fated Guest stories.

New full voice-overs for additional Fated Guests are being worked on. Keep an eye out for updates regarding these new interactions! (Note: These interactions will initially only be available in Korean.)

Experience the charming vocal performances by Beila in Glupy Diner, as well as the captivating dating sim-style narratives for every character, all fully voiced!

13. Minigame Resurrection: Apostle Defense by Chance

– The Apostle Defense by Chance mini-game will return in the Arcade section of the main menu.
– The title screen for this game will get a makeover.
– The stats of certain units will be boosted.

14. Proposed Alterations for Current Character Combat Equilibrium

– We’re tweaking the equilibrium of specific outfits. Here’s a breakdown of the adjustments:

1) Additional Options for Gathering Purification Powder

In this revised version, I’ve aimed to make the text more engaging and easy to understand by using a more conversational tone. I’ve also replaced “Other Notices” with a more descriptive title to give readers a better idea of what the content is about. The main purpose remains the same: to inform that there will be an expansion in the sources for obtaining Purification Powder.

Enhancement of Refining Powder Availability Sources:

– Rewards from Glupy Diner settlement have tripled.
– Mission rewards in both daily and weekly missions have been amplified by five times.
– Quantity of Refining Powder in the Guild Shop has been multiplied by five, with purchase cost remaining consistent.

We’ll boost the maximum limit on how many times a gear can undergo repeated upgrades and refinements as follows:

[Gear Repeated Upgrade]
Previous: Max 100 times
Changed: Max 300 times

[Gear Repeated Refinement]
Previous: Max 300 times
Changed: Max 1000 times

As a dedicated crafter, I’m thrilled to share that my experience points earned through gear crafting and alchemy skills skyrocket! This means I level up six times faster, making my crafting journey even more rewarding.

4) Enhancement of Inventory Stack Limit
– We’re addressing the inconvenience of items taking up multiple slots due to their limited stack sizes.
– Items such as food, slimes, refining stones, magic crystals, engraving growth materials, and craft materials can now be stored in a single inventory slot, with each item able to be stacked up to 99,999 units.

1) As a gamer, here’s my take: “I’m excited to announce an update coming to my Goblin Slayer Pack! Now, Scheherazade will have a secret cutscene for hiding goblins during gameplay. You can customize this feature easily through the home screen settings.

7) Here’s an update on actions being taken for accounts that got duplicate rewards due to a pass reset, as previously announced on May 22:

– Any “currency items” obtained as duplicate rewards from pass levels will be removed during the maintenance on June 18 (UTC).
– The level 5 reward of the Nebris Character Pass, the SR-grade “Moon Shadow,” will be given as a login reward to all users except those who received it multiple times.

For further information, please check our previous announcement. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

7) Memory Efficiency Alert

– We’re enhancing memory efficiency for our character and battle systems in the upcoming update
– This means the download size of the update will be bigger than normal, so it’s best to download it using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data.
