Hello. This is the Full Burst RPG, BrownDust2.
Thank you to all our BrownDust2 players for your ongoing support. We’re sorry for any confusion or trouble caused by a recent problem with the new system as we started the official season.
We’ve found a problem with the new “Overkill Score” system in the current Guild Raid season and are working to fix it. We want to let you know what steps we’re taking.
The Overkill Score was being updated incorrectly. Even if a battle didn’t beat the player’s previous high score, it would update the score simply by dealing the most overkill damage, regardless of any support characters used or how long the battle took.
[Design Intention]
The Overkill Score was meant to update only when you beat your high score. Currently, there’s a bug causing it to update even when you haven’t, which isn’t how it’s supposed to work.
Here’s what the Development and Operations teams have planned after discussing things thoroughly:
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know how the season rankings will work this time around. They’ve decided to leave out Overkill Scores when calculating the rankings, so it’ll be based *only* on Guild Battle Scores – just like in past seasons. Apparently, this is to avoid any confusion or unfairness that could happen if they changed things mid-season, which is a good call, honestly. It keeps things consistent and fair for everyone!
If guilds have the same Guild Battle Score, they will be considered tied, just like in past seasons. This means that if guilds in the top three positions have the same score, their rankings will be reordered to reflect that.
Adjustments for tied rankings will be applied after the season ends during final settlement.
As a long-time player, I just learned that our Overkill Scores in the guild rankings are going to be temporarily hidden or reset to zero. Don’t worry though, the developers said they’ll fix everything and apply the correct scores once the season is officially over. So, it’s just a temporary thing!
Starting with the next Guild Raid season, the Overkill System will be fixed and accurately displayed in the rankings.
We’re truly sorry for the problems you experienced with the new system. As a way to make things right, all players will receive compensation, including:
[Guild Raid Overkill Score System Error Compensation]
– Distribution Period: Until October 2nd, 2025, 14:59 (UTC)
– Compensation: 10 Draw Tickets
We’re very sorry that the game hasn’t been as stable or fun as it should be, and we’ll work hard to make sure future updates are more polished and reliable.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
