📢 Guild Raid Issue: Apology & Follow-Up Measures

As I mentioned in yesterday’s live stream, I want to offer a formal apology in writing and explain what happened with the Guild Raid issue, as well as what we’re doing to fix it.

We recently fixed a bug caused by an update to the Bittersweet Bunny Darian character. While improving Darian’s cooldown reduction skill, we accidentally changed how Lancelot’s cooldowns worked. We’ve now reverted that change to fix the issue.

We learned about this issue yesterday from reports by players and talked about whether to keep the season going as it was. Because we’ve dealt with similar fairness problems in Fiend Hunter before, we first thought about this solution:

To address the issue, temporarily treat the current season as a pre-season. Once the problem is fixed, restore the season and update the rankings to reflect the new, active season.

Fiend Hunter is designed for single players, but Guild Raid relies on teamwork and the combined contributions of everyone in a guild. We didn’t fully consider this difference when we quickly decided to cancel the season.

It was a mistake to first cancel the season with only a few hours left, and then change our minds. We are truly sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused.

Going forward, when we find a bug, we’ll let you know right away and be more open about how we decide what to do about it.

We will also define clearer response rules by content type:

For Fiend Hunter, we’ll keep using the method of addressing issues before, during, and after events as needed. Regarding Guild Raids, we understand they require teamwork and consistent effort, so we’re creating a system to reduce repetitive gameplay and safeguard your progress. We’ll share a detailed plan for improvements during our January broadcast.

Regarding extra payment, we handled this situation similarly to the previous issue with Fiend Hunter. However, we realize that doing what feels right is important, and we admit we didn’t fully satisfy your needs this time.

We’re very sorry for the confusion, and to make things right, all players will receive the following compensation:

We know that no amount of money can truly make up for the frustration this caused, but we want to be clear that we recognize our error and take full responsibility for it.

We’re truly sorry for the trouble and disappointment this has caused, and we understand it’s damaged your trust in us. We know regaining that trust will take time, but we’re committed to listening to your feedback and working hard to get better.
